Hi Moms,
I am looking for some really classy invites for my son's baptims. I don't want to spend too much and am willing to make them myself. Any suggestions on a good website or store.

What can I do next?

I have used www.sweetsendables.com for announcements. I did everything via email and it was super easy. I don't see any baptism announcements on her website but you could always inquire and see if she could create one for you. Her pricing is pretty in line with all that is out there for custom invitations etc... Hope that helps!

If you can get a JoAnn Fabric's coupon (usually 40% off), go there and go to the Wedding Aisle, there are invites there with a cross on them. You can print them on your printer at home...you can even use the invites website for ideas on wording. I used these for my daughter's 1st Communion and no one had no idea they were really Wedding Invites!

They were square, border and cross in like a "shimmery pearly" tone...

Hope this helps.

But basically, anything with a Cross on it will pass, you can find those anywhere.

I got my baby shower invitations from Target, they have baptism ones too! They are the ones you print yourself, they are about $20 for 50 of them and they come with enevelopes and instructions. There is also a place in Grapevine called Magic Pen & Party 422 S Main, they have nice stuff but I'm not sure what their prices are. Hope this helps!

They are wonderful. You can have them print them for you or just buy the cards and do them at home which is what I do. I have used them for my birth announcements for my daughter, my daughters Baptism and now my son's First Communion this coming Saturday. They are great and have beautiful invitations.

I saw a baptism invitation done by "Images by Kimberly" in Keller that was a photograph with the invitation information printed on the photograph. It was very beautiful an inexpensive. I'm not certain if this is stylistically what you have in mind, but if so, contact Kimberly at ###-###-#### for sitting fee quotes.
