Is It Normal to Feel This Tired?

I've been working 2 part time jobs for the last 5 months - they added up to almost an 8 hour day. One boss was great, the other was AWFUL - even my other boss was a bit stunned by #2's behaviour. I was "let go" last week with very little warning - nice boss, #1 gave me a head's up because #2 thought he'd let me know when I showed up. 2 days notice, time to train the new person, and boom. It's been horrible for 4 of the 5 months, so I am relieved, though upset and stressed about finding another job.

I feel so exhausted today. It's the first day after the weekend, my first day not "working". Son's out of daycare (age 4) till I find a new position. Is it normal to feel this wiped out? I'm GLAD to be away from the crazy guy - you wouldn't believe how glad. Could it just be reaction from that?

Thanks!

Sorry you're going through all of that. And, yes, definitely stress can wipe you completely out. Different types of stress will take away all my energy to where I have a hard time even walking (those are rare cases, though). Eat lots of fruit...it'll help with energy and mental health. I hope you find another job soon.

STRESS! That is it in a nutshell. Just try to catch your breath, eat well
and get some sleep. Better days are coming.

My husband lost a job he HATED and slept a lot for days after it. It was such a huge relief and all that stress and anxiety was gone. He could finally relax. I think what you're going through is pretty common in similar situations.

Sounds normal. Your body has gone through months of stress on top of your normal activity. You have to re-charge.

That said... I'm the worst at being wiped out. I can't get through tge day without laying down, not sleeping, and just take a mental break.

We get so busy with family, schedules, work, that it takes a toll and sometimes you need a break.

I hope things look up for you!! I've read a lot of your posts and you seem like you are very nice person and a good mom.
