How long have you and your hubby/SO been together? How long have you been married? What is the funniest memory you have together.

Trav and I have been together for 1 year 6 months and 10 days. When we dated in high school it was only for first semester as I went to a different school and was told I was ruining his life. 5 years later here we are. The funniest memory I have with Travis o lets see we have millions of funnies so i will let you choose the funniest.

a) travis went outside because there was a racoon in our yard. Yes he took the gun but realized when he got out there that there where no bullets lol so here he is running in circles trying to either capture it or me get bullets there in time. I think they ran probably 3 miles in circles while travis is falling on his butt and the poor coon wont leave.
b) Trav and Sammy were playing outside I think it was supposed to be tackle football when our rottie laid down on travis (after a tackle) and would not let him get up. Just licking him to death but all of her weight was on him and when he moved he got the tongue.
c)The first time we went to a hunting expo they had a bow fishing set up there and he is telling me this that and the other thing and I let go of the string and scored better than he did. ( give him credit though he didnt know that my mother pushed archery on me.)

These are the funniest that I can think of right now. Lets take a minuet to congratulate our guys for being on the good things they do!

What can I do next?

My husband and I have been together for what will be 8 years in May, married for what will be six years in April.

Funniest APPROPRIATE moment: My cat was biting him, so he bit the cat back. They were literally sitting there just biting each other... SO strange, and yet SO funny!

We've been married 15.5 years, we were together for 1 year before getting married.
My Husband has a real quick humor, to anything. He can make the most dreadful icky thing, funny.
Quick wit.
So when I'm crabby, his wit comes in handy. He can get me out of being crabby.

LOL what a funny post :)

We dated for 6 years and have been married 6.5 years. Wow that time went fast.

My husband is seriously the funniest person I know, and for some reason I read this post and my mind just went blank. I had to sit here and think about it, but I'm glad for reflecting on our 13 years.

One time I think that's my favorite is our first attempted camping trip together. Not hilarious, but a funny story we love. I'd never been camping but he had been a lot. We drove a few hours to northern PA and when we got to our camping location, we saw a black bear in the road. We stopped, it looked at us and went on it's way. Nothing scary happened. But he just looked at me and said "uh, wanna go to maryland and eat crabs instead?" I nodded. He turned around and we drove to the beach, found a restaurant where we could get a pot full of crabs and a mallet, and had a great time.

My husband and I have been together since October of 1996. Didn't have our first kid until 2003, 2nd kid in 2005, last one in 2008. Married in August of 2010. So we have been together for 16 years but we say it like: 14+2 for our wedding annie!

Funniest Moment:
It was before we had kids, we occasionally (still do this) move our mattress out into our living room floor in front of the fireplace and have a 'Movie Night', we had done this and were sleeping and I had had a night terror (sadly I have them occasionally) and I woke up sitting straight up screaming at the top of my lungs. Husband wakes up in a panic and jumps straight up and to the side, off the mattress, in one fluid motion and then proceeds to jump, with arms out in a defensive position, in all 4 directions looking for what is making me scream!

It was funny b/c he is jumping in a circle trying to 'protect us' only in his boxers....and he had landed and completely DESTROYED our cheap coffee table with his first jump out of bed...so in the end, there is no intruder but husband is standing amongst the obliterated coffee table wearing only boxers and we were both confused, still slightly scared but kinda wanting to laugh! We will never ever forget that!!! I was very impressed with his mad skills...didn't know a human being can go from sleeping to standing in one motion, amazing! ;)

In March we will celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary, but we dated for almost four years before we were married.

Funniest memory? Too many to sort out. I guess there was the time I found him in the kitchen with the water sprayer down his pants. I asked what the hell he was doing. He was as embarrassed as I have ever seen him. Apparently, earlier in the day he was working in the garden. He picked several jalapenos. Then after his hard day, with me gone, he decided to have a nice manly scratch. Jalapeno oils and his nether regions were not a good mix. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life.

I have known my H since I was about 15. About 37 yrs. we have been married for almost 26 yrs.

I tease him about being like Sheldon on Big Bang. My personality changed after we were married. Just because I was often..well, setting him straight!
Then I accepted some of it. Now we just laugh at each other as we do crazy old people stuff. Drives my kids crazy sometimes but it makes staying together all those years worth it to grow old with someone.

The latest thing was at the DMV. H had to get his license renewed. He dreaded the eye test because he had a hemorrhage in his right eye when he was 22 and can't see very well out of it. Now, he does everything a normal person does but, for shame, might not get all the letters right!
He set up his iPad with an eye chart for a week before he went. That's funny enough, to think you can practice for an eye test but that's not the funniest part. We sat in front of the station waiting our turn when the first guy went up. We could hear all the questions and answers. In the eye test the guy starts to call out numbers!

AAK! He whispers frantically, I didn't study for numbers!

I am ROFL. He was really kind of kidding because he knew it was funny but oh, my goodness, did I laugh at the DMV!

We have been married for 8(9 this year) and together for 10(11 this year).

Funniest thing to happen.......We have had more then our fair share of funny....what I am about to tell you is one we still to this day bring up...any time he offers to carry me for whatever reason...

One of our favorite things to do when we first started dating, was to go and just walk around downtown Seattle. I was in love with Capital Hill, Volunteer park, trendy yet not hole in the wall coffee house's.

We were just heading back to the car. My feet hurt, so Cory offered to carry me(jokingly at first)...I took him up on it. So he is speed walking with me on his back when he caught his toe on the side walk. I went over the top of him, using me to break his fall. TO MAKE MATTERS EVEN MORE HILARIOUS WE HAPPENED TO BIFF IT RIGHT IN FROM OF AN AMBULANCE. The rolled their window down and I beat them to a punch line..and go ''Do we need to still call for an ambulance or can you just ask me if I am ok''.....We all burst out laughing.

Needless to say, I was not exactly begging him to carry me over the thresh-hold the day we got married:)

We've been together for 14 years, married for 11.

I am somehow not in a funny, lovey mood right now, so I'm probably forgetting the funniest things, but a few I remember are:

a. After we'd been dating for all of a week or something, we drove down to the coast and took a walk on the cold, rainy beach -- and pretty much fell madly in love. And, proceeded to completely, utterly, hopelessly forget where we'd parked. My then-new-boyfriend reasonably speculated that the car had been towed. I, with my love-addled brain, was absolutely sure he was saying the car had been bewitched and turned into a toad.

b. We met during a union drive. He was a staff organizer, I was a worker-activist. We were ridiculously careful about being discreet while the organizing drive was going on. When we won the election for representation, we pretty much came out of the closet. No one even blinked. Everyone, I mean everyone, already knew.

c. We've always had this relationship metaphor, "stay in the canoe," and when he decided to propose to me, the Mister took me on a whitewater canoeing trip. Trouble was, he had no clue how to handle whitewater and capsized us twice. I (who actually can canoe) pretty much started our engagement by yelling at him. It's a miracle that the ring, and the marriage, survived, but they did ;)

You and Trav sound really cool, fun, outdoorsy, and fearless. Good for you!

Married 14.5 years, together 17. (WOW!)

Can't remember a funny action story, but we are both punsters and goofy. We like Scottish games, dancing, etc. and I think we were driving to a related party or event. This will only be funny to fans of the Highlander movie - so Connor McCloud of the Clan McCloud - picture a big field of Scottish fighters. Up drives a clown car into the middle of the battle field - A kilted clown gets out, and then another, and another - hundreds of kilted clowns - you know, Connor McCLOWN of the Clan McCLOWN. I laughed so hard I cried from that visual. It'll still make me chuckle. You probably had to be there ; )

My fella is pretty awesome. We've been together for 12 years, married for about 4.

Silliest memory: we were camping and playing cribbage. He set me up for a perfect hand while I was in the bathroom, and then when I was so excited to finally get a great hand, he just fell apart laughing.

Another camping trip; we had the space next to the 'drunk young college kids' who were going to party all night, much to our chagrin. Well, that night it rained buckets... when we woke early the next morning, we realized that not only had the young'uns not put up their rain fly, they also had their tent windows open. It was a wee bit of happy revenge to listen to them waking up and shrieking when they discovered they were soaked. tee hee!

i cant think of any seriousoy hysterical moments at the moment but lots of ones filled with tons of laughter

the time we had a water fight with Emmy in the house. I squirted collin with the sprayer, he got emmy, she got us. we were grabbing anything thatcould be used as a water gun or sprayer slipping and sliding all over the house. we needed to mop all of the floors through the house after that. we've had quite a few of those with and without emmy involved.

most of our seriously "pee your pants" laughing moments involve Emmy. We have fun with and without her obviously but sheesh she sure livens us up and makes us smile and more playful. perks of him dating someone with a kid=)

last night we were all laughing non stop i cant remember why J. a series of funny things and enjoying eachother

My husband and I started dating when we were 16 years old. We have been together for 16 years 6 months, we will be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary next month.

I think the funniest (not funny at the time) was when my son was only days old. We rented a house in the country. A bat somehow got in the house and my husband was going around with a fishing net trying to catch it in the middle of the night. We ended up calling the people we rented from and they lived in the big house on the property and they finally caught it and released it.

My husband and I will celebrate our 9th anniversary this year, and we've been together for 11 years.

We have lots of good memories through the years, some funny, some romantic, some challenging, but all steps that got us here to where we are today. We wouldn't trade a single one of them, because then we wouldn't be happily married now.

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary this month. We were best friends for 5 years before that. (never more, just friends!)
(i am DYING that you know the months and days!! how funny! lol)
The thing that always makes me smile is our wedding. We had no money so we got married in my parents living room. The person who married us is a Wiccan. We had our get together in the cabana at our apartment. My son was 7 months old, so we were running around getting things ready WITH a baby! FUN! We get married, we dance, we have fun! We go home and I am ready to be his WIFE. I ask him to help me get my hair down and I go to the bathroom for less than 5 minutes to get out of my dress and into something sexy. I come back to the room and he is sleeping. No "just married" sex for us!
