Last Monday Steve Harvey premiered his first talk show. His first guest was some one that he thought was in a horrible situation. The wife only had $100.00 to spend on "herself" each month. I mean buying new clothes, peticures, lattes, ect. Not things that are neccesarity, like hair cuts, or eating out with her husband. I asked a few people & they all said WOW ! I would love $100 to spend on extras. OK moms, how much do you spend on just youselves each month. This woman uped it to $200.00. I know that I would love $100 to spend on just MYSLF. What do you think ??????? UPDATE: I sat down & figured out how much I spend on just me each month. I spend $15.00 on a haircut including tip because I use a coupon. (I wear my hair short)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Maybe I should forward this to Steve Harvey to let his show know how "real" people live.

I wish. I don't know the last time I had a mani-pedi! Although I really don't know what I would spend 200 every month on. That's more than I think I need EVERY month.

Yeah..... I don't spend that much.... I need that for bills! I can usually make a $20 last 10 days or so, but I take leftovers for lunch, and rarely stop at fast food places. Manicure? Pedicure? Yeah, right.....

I would be overjoyed if someone gave me even $20 to spend on myself each month...(Manda, we are SOOO together!) I don't know the last time I've bought new clothes, new shoes, or anything for me, really.

Oh, wait. I splurged part of my Christmas saving money last year to buy the new Zelda with the gold remote but I could justify it because the entire family played it...(but it was really for me!) :)

But yeah...lame. More to the point, I can't believe they gave Steve Harvey a talk show. And did you see that Ricki Lake is back? Talk about a blast from the past!!

Well, none. I'm not bothered by it, though.

Not nearly that much, I will get a Starbucks every now and then but nothing major and maybe once every month 1/2 - 2 months I will treat myself to a pedicure, other than that my money is spent on household needs and my kids.

I have no left over money for myself. I have not been to get my hair done in years I look terrible. My money is spent on my kids clothes, school fees, food and surprise extras that the 3 kids accumulate. Hardly enough for food. I think 100.00 a month could get me hair cuts, manis, pedis, but I would just buy more food with it. for now it's all about the kids.

I spend a fortune on my hair, but other than that, I don't spend much of anything on myself.
