Just for fun.... what are you all doing this Friday night or even Sat. night if you read this on Saturday?
Me: 11 yr. old daughter is on a "date" with her boyfriend at the school fair, 14 yr. old is out with 6 yr. old at the park, hubby and I are watching t.v. and relaxing, enjoying the onset of the weekend!
Just bought a new boat so we are taking it to a local lake for an engine test, then tomorrow, if everything works right, it is off to catch some king salmon.
On Sat we're planting a few trees.
After we wash up there's a free concert at the high school this afternoon and then we're going to our town's Jubilee, walk around a few hours then watch fireworks.
Dinner and a movie...at home!
We are bbq'ing burgers then going to the circus.
My SD is sleeping over a friend's house, my oldest son is at his girlfriend's prom, my middle son is sleeping over a friend's house, my husband is playing poker and my youngest son and I had a quiet evening at home watching Smurfs 2 on the couch. Going to bed early, yay!
My husband has gone on a 10 day trip with his father!
So I have the remote!
But I did meet with a client then went for a nice long lunch with my "lunch Bunch"..
So tonight I had the leftovers and watched Grimm, and then soaked some old ribbons. Very exciting life.
Tomorrow I need to research some prices for a proposal for an event. I am thinking about going to a movie and I will be attending a Rally for "Bring Back Our Girls" at the Texas State Capitol..
Son is at a sleepover away, daughter is having a sleep-over here (and they just went to bed.. they are 12/13 and were both up early for school and have been hanging out together since the end of school today), and husband is gone to bed as well.
He worked a double shift yesterday into this morning, and has only had an hour or two of catnapping during the day today. So he crashed about an hour ago.
Me? I'm sitting here checking my online friends, doing a little reading, and giving the dog some attention. Then, I will be off to bed soon as well. I'm tired and I have a headache.
I had a vendor event outside today so I've got a bit of a sunburn, which means I'm tired & don't feel like doing anything!
But...the kiddos are snoozing, the husband is at work, & as soon as I'm finished goofing off on here I'll be doing schoolwork.

Last night hubby, toddler and I had an indoor picnic and listened to music. After DS went to bed, we watched TV and had some cocktails. Today DS and I went to an outdoor bday party and after his nap we're driving over to Grandma's about 45 min away. She's making dinner and I don't have to cook! Yay! Tonight I'm alone - hubby is on a trip. Will prob watch a movie on the tube and pass out early.
