My son went throught 2 of these he loved it SO much! He got his first one when he was about 2. We kept it outside so it went through all the weather and it lasted for almost 3 years! It was definately worth the money for us!!!

Have you had any responses? We are thinking about one also for grandsons ages 2 & 3 to use on thr ranch.
My kids got the gator when they were about 3 and drove it until last summer(my son is 9). They loved it!
I'm a little late in responding. My cousin bought her son the JD Gator when he was two, he is now 8 and still squeezes himself in it! He also loves to drive my 3 yo granddaughter around in it!
We bought her the Barbie Jeep in Jan for her birthday. She has long legs for her age but fits in it nicely. She loves her jeep! I do wish I would have gotten something with more options, but I couldn't pass up the price on the Jeep.
Check out all the options on all the cars before you buy. And as everyone else has stated, get an extra battery!
We are on our second gator. The first one still runs but it has been used and practially destroyed. The 3 girls love it. The 2nd we just got last year mainly for my youngest who was 2 at the time. I love it because the tires are better thatn most and it can handle the ground a lot better. I love the fact that it also has the bucket in the back. The girls drive all around the yard picking up sticks or anything else my husbands asks them to do. Also, no that it suppose to hold this many but we have put it to the test at bday parties..... We have put 6 kids age 7-ish on the gator and it held up. Sorry, but i am a big fan of the gator. And to be fair we also have the barbie jeep and corvett. Neither of these lasted very long. Nor could they hold the weight as well etc... They got stuck all the time because the tires were too slick. Have fun watchign them drive. My now 3 year old can whip her gator thru the fence in hi gear and never flinch. It is cool!
We have a Gator and it is awesome! We got it when my daughter turned 4, she's now 6 and still loves it. My 4 year old son also drives it. The battery lasted 2 years before needing to be replaced. Have fun!
My son in 4 1/2 he started with the tractor and now has the gator. He loves it, loves it, loves it. He is tall for his age (upper 95th %). The seat on the gator does adjust, so that helps you get alot more use out of if. If you do purchase it, get an extra battery. Charge one while you are using the other.
We almost bought if for our daughter who is 3 at Christmas. She is pretty tall and I took her to the store to sit in one and she was almost to big. I posted on mamasource and I got a several responses recommending the Fisher Price Jeep Hurricane. I love it and so do the kids. I have two and it is big enough for them both to ride in it comfortable! We bought it at Walmart and had them ship it to the store (free). It was probably around $50 cheaper than ToysRus. I think they also sell a smaller one you might check online.
J.,
My in laws bought my boys a John Deere Gator for my sons 3rd birthday. He has rode that thing any and EVERY time we go to their house. In my opinion, it is WELL worth the money. If we could afford it, we would buy one for our house. It is a good investiment and will last for years as long as it is taken care of.
I second the Jeep Hurricane. We have that and my son loves it. Also, get a second battery!!!
