There is one at CVS store for 29.99. It works good. Has two different blades. and you can remove and just serve.
I have decided I am going to finally purchase a juicer. I know I want one with a large mouth so I won't have to do much prep work but other than that I don't know what the pros and cons are. Can anyone give recommendations? Costco is currently selling the Jack Lalanne Juicer. Thanks!

Great decision...keep it on the counter or very accessible so it can be used every day.

I recommend the Champion Juicer. We have had one for over 30 years and it is still going strong. However, you may want to consider a Vida Mix. It juices and you get the advantage of the fiber. Check it out on line. If I had to choose between the two a juicer or a Vida Mix, I would go with the Vida Mix.
A., I couldn't help but respond to you email. I have recently started taking a mixture of juice..already mixed for you and it has done so much good for me...no hassel of juicing, purchasing so many fruits and vegetables. This has 19 juices and also contains the skins which would constitue the vegetables one needs every day...full of antioxidants. The main berry is the acai berry which you have heard so much about I am sure.
I have been able to stop my medications for arthritis and severe allergies, headaches, etc. Please look at monavie.com and get back to me.

Just saw a TV infomercial for Jack LaLannes Juicer. Makes one think about what we have with Mona Vie!
We are supposed to get 5 vegetables, and 4 fruits a day into our diets.....
Who Does?
No added water, or fructose corn syrup, or other stuff, like in the bottled juices....
Mona Vie doesn't have either!
Juice gives you alot of energy. A sugar rush without the sugar.....
Mona Vie!
They use the seeds and skins on fruits and vegetables in the juicing.....
Mona Vie does too! And the fruits are Wild fruits, not from grocery stores.
That is where you get so many nutrients and vitamins.....
Phytonutrients come from the skins of fruits used in Mona Vie blends, and from the different colors of fruits!
Juicing is easy to ingest, quick, tastes great....
Mona Vie is easier...Drink 2 oz. twice a day! No mess or fuss!
Juicing is Healthy Nutrition......
Mona Vie is nutrition for the next generation!
I highly recommend the Jack LaLanne juicer! After much research online, I bought a Greenstar juicer about a year and half ago. It works great, but was expensive (around $250) and the food chute is rather small so the veggies/fruits have to be cut up. I recently acquired a Jack LaLane juicer from a friend and it is so much easier to use and clean up...you can drop a whole apple in and there are fewer pieces to take apart and wash.
A juicer is great way to add more veggies to your diet and eat healthier. My girls (6 and 18 months) absolutely love the juice!!
I highly recommend the Jack LaLanne Juicer. Little prep required, fairly simple to clean up and put back together. I had a sunbeam prior to Jack LaLane. I had to cut everything up and the juice came out very slush like.
Hi A.,
I have the Jack Lalanne Juicer and I love it. Liek you said you don't have to do much prep work. We do a lot of carrot & apple juice. It is wonderful tasting.
Hi A.,
I like the Jack lalanne juicer. It really breaks down the fruit and veggies well and makes a lot of juice. I don't know how much costco has it for but I got mine at bed bath beyond and then used their 20% off coupon. The only downside to the juicer is that it has a lot of parts the clean. All the parts are easy to clean but the filter. The filter takes some scrubbing.
Hi A.!
I have a juicer much like Jack Lalanne's except the name is not on it so it was about $50 less.
I say go for it. The ones with the wider mouth tend to be easier so we do not have to do the cutting up but you want to pay attention to the power (Watts).
I love my juicer. I also use a blender to make smoothies for the children with frozen fruits from costco or SAMS and put a little orange juice with a blend of different fruits and it makes for a nice special treat that they look forward to.
I aso hae a Jack Lalanne Juicer an think it is a good deal, although it depends on what you want to juice. I also have a juicer and a pulper thingy that attaches to my mixer and find that I use those more than the Jack Lalanne one. I mostly juice squishy things (tomatoes, pears, and the like) and the Jack Lalanne shoots out alot of the juice with the pulp. You can't beat the Jack Lalanne though if you want to juice things like cabbage, carrots, beats and as odd as it sounds zuccini juice is really sweet and tastes great. Good luck juicing!

Vita Mix all the way!
Hi A.,
I recently got the Juiceman Jr. from Walmart. It is only about $50.00 and so far it has been great. It has an exrtra wide chute so you don't have to do much if any prep at all.
Hope this helps!
