Lack of Vaginal 'Odor'??

I know this may sound funny..
I am in my 40's. Since the last 6 to 8 months I have noticed that I really do not have a vaginal 'odor' anymore.
It wasn't a strong odor..it was just present.
Have you experienced this? Is it my age? I do not have menopause symptoms right now. Should I add something to my diet?
I know women usually think the opposite, but I actually want some sort of smell back :)
Thanks!

What can I do next?

Well...speaking as one who does NOT spend time sniffing my vagina...I would look toward a respiratory issue to be honest.

**and, for the record, EVEN at my advanced age of 54, if I wished to 'take a whiff', I remain flexible enough to do so.**

*I choose NOT to btw*

just saying
and
geesh!!

Is this a problem? Really? You want a smell back? If you were smelly before, maybe you had a bacterial infection that finally went away. I dunno, rub a fish on it or something.

Sorry, but yes, it sounds funny.

I can't figure out if you're trolling or bragging or serious.

Perhaps your sniffer is busted. Have you had an upper respiratory infection or allergies?

it IS science, not opinion (at least i think it is) that after menopause our invitational pheromones decline, and doubtless many of those enticing little olfactory come-hithers originate in the crotchal region. losing that is the main reason that us post-menopausal gals become 'invisible.'

I'm 70 and don't remember having a vaginal odor ever unless I didn't shower for 2-3 days. Then the odor was mild but more apparent. If I didn't shower for several days the odor was funky because it was .mixed with other body odors. I don't think I have a vaginal odor now. This could be that I don't smell it because my ability to smell is lessoned.

I do know that odor is influenced by food. When I ate lots of garlic there was a hint of garlic in the odor In that area. May not have been from the vagina because my sweat picked up on the garlic.

If you truly have concern about this then I would suggest brining it up at your next doctor visit and getting his take on it. I would not worry though, a strong odor can mean an infection of some kind or imbalance, so having little to no odor should mean you are perfectly healthy.

Im sorry but I seriously LOLed after reading @FelineStroller's response. Have you changed soaps recently? Or maybe changed detergents, feminine products, misc. personal hygiene products, birth control products etc? The odor may of had something to do with you PH level being off.

Actually girls, I think men love the smell. Whether this a troll or not, I, too have no real smell in that area. I kinda wish I still had the slight smell. I'm 55 and it seems all my femininity is less now. :(
