Does anyone know a great attorney who does not lose a custody case? I feel my attorney is not even trying anymore with my case. Any suggestions?

What can I do next?

I saw someone who posted about Paule, Camazine and Blumenthal. DO NOT USE PAULE CAMAZINE AND BLUMENTHAL !!!!I have also used an attorney from their law firm. My original post was to have you contact the above mentioned law firm. However, since my case is finished I WOULD NOT recommend this law firm. I paid an obscene amount of money, was treated very poorly by Susan Block (one of their attorneys)and did not receive any help from the partners in the firm after voicing my complaints. She did nothing but hurt my case after I hired her to modify my separation agreement and turn it into the divorce decree. DO NOT USE PAULE CAMAZINE AND BLUMENTHAL!!!!!

I also agree with a previous post, if you aren't getting the results you want talk with your attorney. It seems to me there are a lot of times the attorneys do things and forget to tell us what is going on sooooo.....sometimes you may just need to be firm but nice. Good luck!!!

I did not have issues with custody, so I can't speak for that but my lawyer was very good. He was very not confrontational and got things done. His name is Alan Freed. His is with Paule, Camazine, and Blumenthal in Clayton. I have read in magazines that one of those partners- I believe it is Camazine is just what you are looking for. Also Alan mentioned it when I interviewed him, but it was not necessary in my case. They are not cheap however. But they are complete and don't drag it out if possible.

First, have you talked to your Attorney and seriously let him or her know how you feel? Other attorneys may be leary of taking on another attorney's case for various reasons, so be sure that you have expressed your concerns with your attorney before you try to hire another one. As a professional courtesy your new attorney will probably contact your old attorney and you want to be sure he only has nice thing sto say about you or the new attorney may balk at taking you on as an new client. Just a little advice. I was a Paralegal for ten years so I've seenlots of situations where a client isn't getting the results that they think they should be getting so they fire one attorney and move onto a new one, where in reality maybe all they needed to do ws communicate their concerns with their attorney and maybe they would have understood their situation better. But, in the end, you have to have an attorney working for you that you are 100% confident in, and after speaking to your attorney you still do not feel this way then I do believe you should find someone new.
