I am trying to find a local bakery that is able to make very differnet type of cake. I have my husbands 30th b.day party coming up fast and would like to find a bakery that could make a cake that looks like his computer tower, key board and mouse. Price was not a proublem but my washer just died tonight in middle of a load of wash so that has set me back just a little bit. I am in the Royersford Area and have come across a couple on line, but i fear that the work might not be good or that the cake might be bad itself. And there is a lot of detail to go into the cake. Other wise i would do it myself. Thank you!
Thank you everyone who informed me about the differnt bakeries that are around. I ended up with going to www.sugar-artist.com . The cake was great, with great pricing and the very differnt flavors, The cake was the hit of the party. My husband loved it and thanks again for all the info on differnet bakeries ladies. Keep up the good work.
There is an AWESOME bakery in Pottstown.. Churchills. They have a website if you google it. I think the name maybe Churchills Chocolates or something like they. They make amazing looking and tasting cakes. I do think they maybe pricey but it is defiantely worth looking into. Good luck!
not that close but Clays in Berwyn or Strawberries in Frazier are awesome!
check E'claires in Perkasie
i am not sure if this is too far for you, but Bakers of Buffington in Downingtown have the most delicious cakes ever, and I know they do creative cakes and will work with you. not sure if they can make a computer or not, but you can call and ask.
My neighbor is a cake baker...I've tasted samples of different types of cakes from her and OMG TASTY! She will make the cake to your specific design and dietary needs. Her website is: www.sugar-artist.com and phone # ###-###-####. She is located in Pennsburg. I was just on the website...check it out.
Larissa, I used Churchill Inc. on High Street in Pottstown this past summer for my mom's 50th birthday party. Tanna, the pastry chef, made me an awesome cake in the shape of a remote control that was the hit of the party! The "buttons" on the cake had the names of mom's favorite shows rather than just numbers and the cake was fabulous! Of course bakery prices run much more than grocery store cakes so my custom cake for about 25 people ran about $140 but it was worth every penny. No one will ever forget that cake! Their site is www.churchillinc.net.
