I am looking for a good family dentist. I would like one that is good for the entire family, but does really well with young children. I have a 4 year old. My husband mentioned how when he was growing up he always went to a dentist where you could watch tv while they cleaned your teeth. Some place like that would be nice. I live in northern Pontiac, and I am willing to travel to any of the surrounding areas.
Tiny Tooth Dental in Troy. They are on Dequindre and 17 mile. He is awesome with the kids. Everything is very kid friendly. Even video games in the lobby. It is definately not a scary place to be. Their number is ###-###-####.

I highly recommend Pediatric Dentistry in Rochester Hills. It's not far from you and they are just absolutely wonderful with the little ones! Everything is geared towards kids - like having a great waiting room with very short wait times, getting their picture taken in the hygenist's chair, getting a prize when they're done, etc. Not sure about the TV, but I promise you will not be disappointed :-) Here is a link: http://kidsgrins.com/
There is a great pediatric dentist in Waterford. I was just there yesterday! I have been going there for 12 years now and when my children go, they don't even know they've been! My 7 year old just had 3 fillings and didn't even know. He wasn't numb or sore. It's amazing. The waiting room is very child friendly and when they call the children back, the parents stay out in the waiting area. Never had a problem with that. There are videos, games, bean bags, posters and everything that will keep their minds off being there. They are located on Elizabeth Lake road near the Summit Place mall. Dr. Komendera in Lake Orion has been GREAT!
Our family has been going to Dr. Heuerman for about a year. He and his staff have been great with our kids (9 & 6) who did not have much experience going to the dentist and were pretty nervous. My husband and I have also been happy with our care there. And they do have TV's in each room! He is on Walton between Dixie Highway and Sashabaw. The number is ###-###-####.

I also live in North Pontiac. I take my son to Dr. Frank and Dr. Lange on Baldwin. THey don't have a t.v. or anything like that, but they are great. We live within walking distance and often when we take walks my son suggests that we should go to to the dentist while we are out because "we haven't been there ina while"! He doesn't get the whole every six months concept yet I guess! LOL
