Looking for a Orthodontic

I don't know how reasonable he is compared to other ortho's, but I go to Dr. Spencer Bailey in Surprise and really like him. His staff is professional and very nice. His office is gorgeous, and I get great care. My step son goes to Festival Dentistry and it is a completely different environment and completely different care (his mom works for them and we got an incredible discount) or he would be going to Dr. Bailey too. I highly recommend Dr. John Jones. I'm on my second set of braces with my second daughter and he does fabulous work. He has a payment plan that does not charge a finance fee and the staff is one of the friendliest I've come across. The staff sends my daughters birthday/holiday cards, plan social events, such as skating parties, and more. Dr. Jones offers free consultations and he explains everything so there are never any surprises. He has two offices, one in Paradise Valley and one in Tempe. My dentist referred me to Dr. Hilgar on McDowell and VanBuren (I think that's right I'm going by memory). Our first appointment is Monday. If that is too far, ask your dentist who he recommends for your daughter. Most Orthos do a free evaluation and consultation.

This is the orthodontist I used. I used Serrano, he was great and my insurance did not cover him. i needed a specialist because I had to have some of my bone removed in my jaw line. They do payment plans. Good luck

I had teeth removed in the past because an ortho thought it was ideal and it has never caused me any problems, sometimes small mouths can not accomidate all teeth, but with children sometimes they can reshape the mouth to acomidate all teeth. I would suggest using a top doctor, do you want an someone that is just learning what to do with your child. Before I had braces I saw 5 diffrent orthodontist. I have had braces more than once because I needed sugery. Not because my firts orthodontis was bad and I would have gone back to him if he had not retired, but as I said Serrano was great

If AHCCCS paid for braces, I find a way to get my kids on it :-) Most insurance pay very little for braces. Make some appointments for consultations, make sure they are free. Most orthodontists have payment plans. Don't get sucked into the dental credit card thing. Also, the newer the doctor the higher the rates tend to be, as well as the higher their rent is the higher their service is. Also, please do not let them pull any adult teeth. That is the worst thing they can do for her. It will come back to haunt her as an adult. Her mouth will accommodate all the teeth that God gave her, the doctor just needs to take the time to do the work right.
Also, try any dental colleges and see if they do orthodontics.
