Looking for a Small Outdoor Wedding Location

A friend of mine is looking to get married in AZ next February and would like a nice outdoor location. She wants a place in the East Valley. It's going to be a very small wedding (15-30 guests) so not too big of a venue. Any recommendations are appreciated, thanks so much!

I think the place by Rancho Solano on Gilbert Rd. that someone below referred to is Called Shenandoah Mill or something like that :) I had a friend get married there once and it was a beautiful wedding. No idea on their prices, service, etc. For my friends wedding, the ceremony was outside with the reception inside.

Also, I'd highly recommend a place called Inside the Bungalow, previously known as Coffee Talk. It is so many different things rolled into one...it's in downtown Mesa off of Robson. It's super cute and pretty reasonably priced. The building itself is a coffee shop/cafe/yoga studio, but they commonly hold events, including weddings, outside on their grounds. It's a very cute, quaint little place and I love it. It does depend on her taste though, as it's very unique and old fashioned....hard to explain :) Hope this helps.

There is a place on the east side of Gilbert Road between Ray and Warner (just south of the Rancho Salano School) that I can't remember the name of that is very nice and intimate. There is also a place on the east side of Gilbert Rd.just north of Warner (again I don't know the name of it) and I've seen a reception place on the north side of Williams Field Rd just east of Gilbert Rd too (don' t know the name of it). Sorry I don't know the names of any of these places but they're easy to find. P.S. The Zoo is very nice but very expensive.

I had my wedding reception at the AZ Historical Society and Museum (Curry and Rural are the major cross streets). You can also have the ceremony there. So beautiful.

There was an adorable intimate chapel with reception area on Gilbert Rd just north of Warner. I think it's called Intimate Weddings or something like that. It's perfect for that size wedding

Depending on how 'formal' she wants it, you might look at some of the parks around. Freestone park in Gilbert has a lake, for example. There are numerous little wedding chapels that might have an outdoor venue as well. If she doesn't have a photographer yet, my husband and I are photographers and we do weddings. Perhaps she'd like to lookk at our website? www.quailcanyonimaging.com or www.qciphoto.com.
