I need daycare or nanny service for three kids, either in 60626 or in Northbrook, starting on Monday. I know that is REALLY short notice, but I've been offered a great job, and I didn't find out about it until yesterday. My kids are 4, 2, and 1. If anybody knows where I can find some kind of childcare or babysitter that would be under 1400/month, I would appreciate the help.

I have a 15 month old baby girl, her baby sitter is in the 60626 area. Her name is Mrs Emma.She lives near Birchwood and Ridge.Mrs Emma is amazing. We are so very comfortable with how she handles layla,my baby girl. She is very clean and organized as a person. From her relationship with her daughter, it is very clear to us how ademant she is about keeping kids challenged or entertained. In my personal opinion, there are a lot of good care takers out there and good day cares, but Mrs. Emma happens to be one of the very few that puts her heart into it.Last but not least, We love how Mrs. Emma is always in touch with us ,through e mails or daily phone calls about every little thing that our daughter does.She does not in any way make us feel uncomfortable when we ask questions about her day.And she is so very opened to us asking her to do things in a certain way. after all, they are our kids. I don't know if this is something you would consider, but I have my daughter in a "in-home-childcare" in Mt. Prospect. I live in Northbrook and go to school at Northeastern. From Northeastern it usually takes about 30 minutes, and from home it usually takes about 15 minutes. I don't know where in Northbrook you're going, so it may take a few more minutes, but here is my sitter's information : JoAnn Zummo ###-###-####.
