I'm looking for a Hair Salon in Roscoe Village/Lakeview/Lincoln Square area. I will be attending a Ball & Auction on the same date as my anniversary & would like to get my hair cut and styled nicely for the event. My hair is rather long because I've not had it cut in a while so I guess I'm looking for a friendly salon that will help me find a new look. Something at an intermediate price range but most important a place that is well recomended. Thnx in advance.
I have been going to Lana Cyrus at the Lana Cyrus Salon for years. I now live in the 'burbs and still drive in for Lana. I don't have her number right off but she is on Sheffield- just north of Belmont.
You have to go the Luxe Salon on Belmont. They are incredible-Ella and Elizabeth are both wonderful-it is a nice relaxing atmosphere. You can go online to see how much things are-Ella is a great person to tell you what would look good on you, but it is your decision. Their website is http://www.luxeasalon.com/. They were featured on the show-starting over. That is how I learned about it and will never go to someone else. They are full of repeat customers who move away and still come back to them
I love Violetta at the Hair Cuttery on Lincoln & Belmont. I was always very picky and went to expensive salons. I needed to cut back and sorry I didn't find her a long time ago.

I go to Exalonce (I think that's how it's spelled) on Roscoe and Levitt in Roscoe Village. It is a wonderful salon that has a full spa and services and the prices are very fair. My lady is Joan - she is awesome! The number is ###-###-####. I have been getting my extensions there for a couple of years now and I would not dream of going anywhere else. Good luck!

The Michael Anthony Salon on Belmont is very nice. They do a great job, and you don't get attitude like you do at their North Ave location.
