Love & Logic Seminars?

Our church, Highland Park United Methodist, is going to start a class in October on Tuesday nights. They offer free child care. You can go to the website www.hpumc.org, Christian Education, Fall 2007 and you'll find it.

Check out the Salemanship Club Youth and Family Center. They are a pretty big organization and base much of what they do on Love and Logic. These are the people that put on the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament every year as their main fundraiser. My kids go to their school and we have done the love and logic thing for a long time and it works amazingly well.

Many of the school districts offer trainings for parents. I know Carrollton- Farmers Branch has and may even still offer classes in Love and Logic for Parents. You can contact the district parent educators to find out. I don't have their direct line but the receptionist for the ad building can give you that number. 9/968-6100

I just went to a Love and Logic Seminar yesterday for preschool teachers. The lady who taught was Brenda Bird. She's out of Carollton and she was awesome and so funny. The two hours she taught went by so fast and I could have listened to her for two more.

I contacted a lady in Allen that teaches classes in her home and if enough people coordinate together she will come to you. I am trying to locate her information for you so when I find it I will let you know. She did an awesome job. She also teaches a class for couples and just dads.
