Need Recommendations of Where to Shop for Good Nursing Bras.

I am looking for suggestions on places to shop for good nursing bras. I have been to Motherhood and JCPennys. Neither carry anything that fits me very well. I guess I'm a strange size? I need a 34 band but larger cup sizes. I can't be the only one out there with this problem. Target used to carry a bra that I loved but no longer does. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your suggestions. I tried to visit the Nursing Station but she has already gone out of business. I went to the Mommy & Me store at Shawnee Mission and had success. The lady there is very helpful.

Hi S.! I bought a few at Mommy & Me like a few other people have suggested. I do have one that I will not be using anymore to see if you like it! I am a 34 as well and this one has lots of stretch to it. Let me know if you are interested. You can also email me directly at ____@____.com. I am in Overland Park. Becca

Personally, I hated the Motherhood bras. They fell apart quickly and didn't provide any support. I do like their nighttime bra though.

I LOVED the Medela brand bras. http://www.medelabreastfeedingus.com/products/intimate-ap... You can find stores that sell the bras here: http://medela.findlocation.com/results.aspx?Flag2668=Y&am...

I bought mine new, still in the package with tags on EBay, and saved a ton.

I also like Bravado nursing bras. You can also find them on Ebay for a fraction of the price. http://www.bravadodesigns.com/ And here's the store locator: http://www.bravadodesigns.com/locator.asp

Hope this helps!!

Hi S.,
I buy mine online at a site called Breakout Bras. Not sure of the URL, but you could at least google the name and probably come up with something. I have the same problem, I need a huge cup and dept. stores didn't seem to carry my size. There's a large selection here, and they will send you "free shipping" codes from time to time. Good luck,
K.
P.S. Also saw some recently at Walmart, believe it or not.

They aren't cheap, but BellaMaterna.com has fabulous bras. They are high quality and super comfy. The Anytime Nursing Bralet, for example, is the most comfortable bra I've ever had. See: http://www.bellamaterna.com/shop/Non-UnderwireBras-PID600...

Looks like they have 34 C/D and E/F. That should be big enough!

Oh sister, I feel your pain! I was actually a 38H (and that was BEFORE my milk came in!), so I had a very difficult time finding bras. I agree that Motherhood is awful about helping/fitting in that department.

If none of the other suggestions work for you, I would highly recommend going to the lingerie department at Nordstroms. They have trained and competant fitters that are super, super nice! I just got a regular bra there but she offered to order me nursing bras when the time came. This is truly the only place in the city that I would send someone having a rough time! Hang in there!

I also bought mine at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. I bought the Bravado ones. The sales people were very nice. If you don't live near there, you might call other hospitals and ask if they have a "Mommy and Me" shop for nursing mothers.

I shopped at Mommy and Me at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. They were very nice to fit me and find what I needed. I honestly wore my nursing tank tops more than a bra....I would have bought more tanks if I knew that then. Bravado was the brand I got...loved them!

I would highly receommend "Mommy & Me" at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. They will fit you to make sure that you get one that is supportive and they last a long time. That is the only place I would buy mine at. The staff is trained in helping you so that you are comfortable. I hop this helps!!

Ironically, I found mine at the walmart in LS. They carry a brand there that has alot of support, is cheaper than those at MM, and works great! Trust me...I've been everywhere in the last 2.5 weeks of my baby's life looking, and the walmart ones are the best 11.74 I ever spent. Not sdure if all walmarts carry them, but the one here in LS on 291 does.

I bought mine online at Mom4Life. I wanted several different types and Heather had a good variety.
