Nose Bleeds - Crystal Lake,IL

I had constant nosebleeds during my teen years and 20's and finally had it cauterized when I was 28. It was the best thing I ever did. I just wish I did it sooner! It didn't hurt too bad - maybe a little uncomfortable but not especially painful. But for someone who dealt with the embarrassment of nosebleeds for years (usually at inoportune times such as out for dinner, at work, etc) it was definitely worth it! I had this done when I was 15. I remember having a terrible taste in my mouth after it was done (it lasted about a day), no aftermath pain though. This was 22 years ago and I can recall no pain, but still remember the taste. I definately recommend getting this done.

I had mine done about 14 years ago..it was one of the worst things I had done. It felt like someone was taking a steak knife and scraping the back of my inner nose. That said I was having such horrible nose bleeds that I had no choice in getting this procedure done. I still get nose bleeds on the same side but nothing like it was, where it was pouring out at an uncontrollable rate.
