Hi moms,
I'm a full-figured gal (44/46 DD or DDD) seeking a supportive non-wired nursing bra in any color other than white (but would especially like a black one). I don't typically find my size in stores, so I have been looking on the internet. Please make any recommendations for your favorite brand, etc.

What can I do next?

Have you tried the Motherhood store? they have an on-line store too and I think I remember them having some in the store that were fuller figure too. I LOVE LOVE mine and have them in black, tan and white.

good luck!

I really like Medela. I have one and it's my favorite nursing bra. Nude color. Full coverage. Comfortable shoulder straps with a good width for support. No underwire. Several hook & eye positions for the perfect fit.
I got mine in the New Baby/Lactation Dept. at Kaiser Permanente in Walnut Creek, but I bet Medela offers them on their website.

I don't have any experience with this recently, my youngest is six - but I would ask at Lane Bryant or other plus size stores. The Lane Bryant store in Sun Valley Mall in Concord, has a large bra and panty department, and while I haven't looked for nursing bras, it wouldn't surprise me if they had some.

Hi L.,

The Womens Health Center in Walnut Creek has a store with nursing bras in hard to find sizes. I don't know about colors tho.
