I will be using the midwives at Swedish as well; my first appt is on the 19th! For my first son I saw all of the ob/gyn's, but I preferred Dr. Koduri and she was the one who delivered my son. She was very comforting, accomodating, and accepting.

I see the Midwives at Swedish regularly and had hoped to deliver with them, however, when my first was breech, we worked with Dr. Lauren Thorpe - first for an attempted version and later for the scheduled C-section when the version failed. I cannot speak highly enough of her and her care. I was especially disappointed to have a C and she did everything within her power to make the experience a good one for my husband and I. The Midwives often refer to her as a Midwife in Doctor's clothes :)

Don't know your situation but hope that helps....
