how many of you really put on something sexy to wear to bed for your husbands? Did you ever, when or why did you stop? When i got married i always told myself that i would wear a sexy night gown to bed for my husband on days like his birthday or v-day. I still want to, but haven't gotten myself to go shopping for a nighty or anything. After having a baby, i've become more lazy, but i still keep telling myself I should. Now, i'm thinking..maybe its too late to even do something like that cuz we've been married for a while plus already have a child and i'm not at the weight i want to be. Maybe its a newlywed thing?? Am i too late, does it really turn your husbands on and is it fun??
Oh, but i do have skimpy shorts that i wear around the house (only) that he loves haha. thats all the "sexy" i have.
Trust me. If he sees you wearing something silky and sexy and new that he hasnt seen before he will LIKE it very much :)
They get numb to seeing us look the same way every day, it is the comfortable part of marriage NOT having to try to be sexy EVERY day. But if you do it every now and then it keeps a good spark going. It's worth it to put out that little extra effort now and then :)
I keep my legs shaved (most of the time!!) and just lay myself right up next to him, that is about all the sexy I have at the end of a long day, but I haven't had any complaints!!! :D

Seriously, though, after being with an awesome hellava man for nearly 10 years, it's not what you wear, it's the 'look' that we give them. ;)
My husband is not a fan of sexy sleep wear. His philosophy is: "It only ends up on the floor so why spend the money." :) He thinks 'nekid' is the sexiest thing to wear. At least it saves me time and money, I guess!
I wear a nighty or nothing every night when my hubby is home(he is in the military and leaves on numerous deployments). It makes me feel pretty and my husband loves it. It's fun when you make it fun. Just because you have kids doesn't mean you stop being sexy to your husband. Even if you don't think so. I have four kids and my husband and I are just as active as we were when we first got married 13 yrs ago. Try to stop worrying about what you think he thinks and give him a chance to show you. It's all in the attitude.
I used to wear sexy nighty once every two weeks, sometimes we would go together and he would pick out what he wanted to see me in : )
I have a whole drawer full of sexy nighty that havent been warn in a year (was pregnant & my DD just turned 5 months) Both my kiddo's are on a sleeping schedule now (in bed no later than 7pm) so I will be doing a nighty this year
I would say it is never too late!! No matter how long you have been married for or that you have your baby. Even if you are not at the weight you want to be, your hubbie isn't going to see what you see. He is going to see the woman he loves in a sexy nighty : )
IMO it does add a little extra something and I think it's fun. Plus I know my hubbie enjoys it.
Sexy is all a state of mind, if you are into it he is going to be into it. You dont have to dress in a nighty either... your sexiest undies and bra will do the trick!
I don't wear something sexy every night but I do try to wear something fun from time to time. My hubby loves it. And actually after i had my first daughter I wore more sexy stuff to bed to help make me feel sexy and in the mood. Like I nursed my daughter for the first year and I didn't want to leak on him so I would wear a teddy or a sexy bra and panties. Also when I first had my daughter I wasn't back at my pre pregnancy weight so again a corset or a nightie that covered my tummy was more flattering. So I say it's never too late and your hubby will love it.

I once told my mom the purpose of the sexy nighties was to see how fast your husband could get you out of them. For me, sexy nighties went to the back of the nightie drawer after the birth of my second son. If we actually had time for sex, we didn't need to waste time on nighties!
Besides, sexy is a state of mind, not necessarily a state of attire.
It's never too late to put something pretty on for bed. They make all kinds of pretty pajamas too that aren't overly revealing if that makes you unfomcortable.
I think a surprise for your husband once in a while, no matter how long you've been married, keeps the home fires burning, so to speak.

I tend to buy something sexy for different occassions. Like now, I'm 37 weeks preggo, not at ALL into the thought of sex, but I bought something new for when I get the "All clear" post-partum. I told him I bought something, but haven't shown him. Just a little way to show I care and I appreciate his patience when I'm not in the mood at all.
After our son was born, I starting wearing long pants & tops to bed, since I was up so much at night (and still sometimes am) and I hate being cold.... So, these days, the best "negligee" is no negligee---is being nekkid, LOL.... That is more enticing to DH than sexy nightwear... Though I still do occasionally wear something slinky for me/my own preference. ;)
I used to but we are still young im 21 and we have a daughter so i usually just sleep in a tank top and pj pants. But when i do put a nighty on he just loves it. Which i can have anything on and hes still a horn dog lol. I guess thats why i dont go shopping for nighties.
My husband loves when I come to bed with nothing on certainly (especially compared to my usual fleece pants and big t-shirt) but without a doubt he is way more excited when i come to bed in lingerie (add heels and, forget about it). LOVES IT! We've been married 15 years, three kids with our youngest being 5 yrs and it is never too late. My only problem is that i've done it too often and he says not, but he's coming to expect it more often. And to be honest, while I enjoy it too, most of the time I like to be in my cozy fleece pants : )
I did when we were first married. A couple of months into marriage, he told me he'd rather me not wear anything. I wear tshirts and sweats to bed unless we're going to have some fun.
No, it is never too late to throw on a hot number for your man! It will break the monotony of your marriage and spice things up! With that said, I do not do it for my husband! I have 3 small kids and am way too tired to parade around in a nighty that will only come off 3 seconds later. It is all I can do to stay awake enough for sex, let alone wear lingerie. Lingerie is a nice touch, but not mandatory, in my opinion. What do husbands want to see the most - lingerie or a naked body???? I think we all know that answer to that! As long as you are giving your husband sex, you are doing your job as his wife, so please don't have the added stress about wearing sexy lingerie.
A lot of times, lingerie is for US - it makes women feel a little more sexy and that enhances the entire adventure for both people. I know that whatever I wear is going to come off in a few minutes, but I love to wear it anyway. I love to see my husband's reaction when he first sees me or feels whatever I am wearing. I used to wear sexy nighties and his pajamas when we first got married. I stopped when I grew out of the nighties and never replaced them...always thinking I would get back in what i had.
I had back surgery and with the reduced diet and using every muscle I have to get moving, I have lost about 7-8 lbs. He looked at me this morning and said, "You have lost weight" and I responded with a simple, "A little" and he gave me the eye and said, "No you really look good". I caught myself blush in the mirror. Were married 14 years, so we probably don't compliment each other as often as we should.
Don't let your weight bother you. Most guys like curves better than bones...
I dig into my lingerie draw every once in a while if the kids have been put to bed early or just because so my husband has never learned to "expect" it. I've packed the weight on too so no more of those tiny little things I wore when we first met. LOL But I still have some really nice stuff. I love Ross for that since I can find really pretty stuff and it's actually within my budget. Do it. It doesn't matter how long you've been together (I've been with my guy almost 10 years, married 9 and he's never gotten bored with it). He'll love it. Even if you're not up to physically going to a store, just order something fun offline.
I used to when we were first married then my husband told me that while he though they were nice they didn't do that much for him. (he'd prefer nothing at all!) It's been awhile since that happened though - on account of my current weight.
Sexy to bed? Nope, I go naked. IF I want to get "lucky" I put on a thong...he knows I mean business when that happens!
I have 3 children with my husband, in fact just had my third, and for my husband plain ol' naked gets him worked up. If he sees me walking around in my flannel pajamas he looks pretty sad.

Just a thought but remember that there are a lot of other women that would be willing to wear something for your man soooooooo if you want to keep him, keep him happy, still love him then it's time to get sexy. Find a babysitter have them take the baby for the night (I'd offer but I'm in LA) and here is what I did. I put a note on the front door for him to meet me naked in the bathroom and there I was in the bathtub full of bubbles.......he could hardly wait to join me!! It is also nice to meet him at the door with a surprise! Mine didn't even make it to the bedroom
It doesn't have to be every night but it does have to be. Mix it up so he will never know what to expect when he comes home. I've done other things but this is a mom sight!!!
Yes I have and still do. I did not so much when I was pregnant (at least not showing) but started shortly after we were married (very self-consciously), and know I bought something really trashy and new shortly after we had our first baby, even though I was still rather puffy and nasty-feeling. He seemed to rather enjoy it. :)
We just went out for our 7th anniversary tonight (it is next Saturday, but I'm due with our third in 3 weeks and 3 days so we wanted to go out sooner) and I can't wait to be able to wear sexy things again and not feel like such a whale! :) I don't like Valentine's Day, but do wear things for anniversaries and random days, too. With kids I have to time it so they are sleeping and he seems like it would be a good night (not too tired--he has to take pills to sleep and they make certain activities difficult to impossible). I also think it is fun sometimes to wear something trashy to bed and fall asleep so he'll wake me up or to wear it around under a bathrobe after a shower until he figures out I'm interested in more than a goodnight kiss. I certainly like just sleeping in a tank and underwear but it is fun to dress up once in a while. It is not too late and he will probably love it. My husband really likes when I wear thongs, which I hate and find uncomfortable, but he seems to really like the body part they flaunt. Sometimes just that under one of his t-shirts is fun enough--I never wear them for the day, just to bed. Enjoy your Valentine's Day!! =)
Most of the time its a t-shirt and shorts or pants for me. But occasionally I will put on cute Pj's or lingerie, and those nights always end the same way ;) Or when its warmer I will wear a tank top and undies (the boyshort kind) and my husband loves that. I think I have always worn these kinds of things to bed. We used to sleep naked, but now we never know when our 3 year old will come in our room in the morning and half the time the dog wants to sleep on our bed too, so it just doesn't work out that way anymore.
When I'm horny, I just come to bed naked.
this was my favorite thing to do as a newlywed. I still occasionally do. even a thong or fancy panties is a nice surprise. It signals to my husband what I am in the mood for. Don't ever pull it out if your not up for it. So unfair.
