Hello Mamas,

I am a physical therapist, so have worked with a number of pediatric orthopedics. I have found Mark Moran, MD from Parkview orthopedics to be very good. He has offices in Joliet by Silver Cross Hospital and in Palos on College Drive I believe. I also worked for Loren M. Brown, MD in Munster, IN. He is quite good, but can have a rough bedside manner. I also know of Denise Ibrahim, DO with M&M Orthopedics who takes a lot of time with her patients. With the same group is Ernest Lindell, MD who is good with kids. Good luck, hope this helps.
I used to work for an awesome pediatric orthopaedic surgeon. He is nationally renowned and a very kind man. His name is Dr. Matthew Bueche, he practices at M&M Orthopaedics in Naperville and Oak Brook Terrace. The main # there is ###-###-####. There are 2 other pediatric doctors there, as well as at least one physician's assistant. All very good. Sometimes it takes a little while to get in with Dr. Bueche, but he is very good and really worth it. Hope that helps!

Another plug here for Dr. Beuche (pronounced Beekey) at M&M Ortho. It took us about 2 or so weeks to get in to see him but it was worth it. He is very thorough and will explain and re-explain until you understand what is going on.
Dr. Mark Moran,
He is out of Silver Cross and Palos. Have used him for my children although not for surgery. He specializes in Peds.
I highly recommend Mark Moran of Parkview Orthopaedics. He has an office in Palos Heights. He is so personal, great with kids, and a highly respected surgeon. I know several people who have taken their children to him and he has done an outstanding job.

Good luck!
Parkview Orthopedics - Dr. Mark Moran is the pediatric doc and is great. I have been with Parkview since 1979. They just did a partial knee replacement for me (age 46) and I couldn't be happier. They are located in Palos, and Joliet, and Evergreen Park. Their link is http://www.parkviewortho.com/physicians.html
You can get the phone numbers to the locations at the website and can get information on the doctors as well.

I would highly recommend my foot doctor, Daniel Luetkehans, who works out of Good Samaritan hospital, but he may not do babies. A pediatric orthopedic we saw for my daughter is Dr.Matthew Bueche, M&M Orthopedic group.
