I think my son and I went horseback riding in Castlewood Park? It's been awhile so I can't remember the name. Also, have you gone to the Magic House in Kirkwood? What a blast!
Hi Moms,
does anyone of you know of a Park that also has Horses. maybe even horseback riding in West County, I think I have been there before but I do not remember where it was.... I think somewhere close to Clayton Rd... somewhere between Chesterfield and Town & Country.I would love to have the name if the park, if anyone knows.
Thanks

I believe it's Babler State Park
Hi there,
I would think that it is Queeny Park you are referring to :)

Longview Farm Park is on Clayton Rd. Between Mason & 141. They have horses, but I don't know about riding. However, there is a park in Eureka that dose horseback riding. Good Luck!
The park you are looking for is called "Queeny Park". You can access it off of Manchester or Clayton Rd. for the east entrance. Take either of these roads to Mason Rd. Queeny Park is located in between Clayton and Manchester roads off of Mason. You can also access it off of Weidman Rd. (which you can get to by going down Clayton or Manchester). On the Weidman Rd. side you will find a horses stable. I do not believe they actually keep horses at the park (I have not yet seen signs of that when I have walked there); however, I do know they allow horses and I have seen people bring horse trailers to the park and take the horses out on horse trails. If you check out the stables off of Weidman Rd. they may have programs set up that include time at the park on horses. But, that is something I don't know at this time.
Queeny Park is a great park and I love walking there. I regularly see red tail hawks and deer. Also, they do have an ice rink that is easiest accessed off of Weidman Rd. and a nice play ground next to the ice rink.
Have Fun!!!
I'm pretty sure Greensfelder Park (far west county) has horseback riding lessons. I know they have lots of riding trails. Babler Park used to, but not anymore.
I belive it is called Queeny Park. I don't think they have riding lessons this time of year. You may check out the stables in Fenton
I am thinking maybe you are thinking of Queeny park? It is on Weidman Road in Manchester/Ballwin. I know people ridetheir horses there but not sure if you can rent one there...
I think maybe Queeny Park.
