I don't want my son's visit to the dentist to become a nightmare again. When he was 3, he totally flipped out on his first visit and from then on, he is fearful, screams and refuses any dental instruments to be put inside his mouth. Now that he is almost 5, he is still uncooperative. Please help. Can you refer to me a pediatric dentist who is very gentle and great with kids? Thank you so much!
you need to go to Dr Verwest office and you are going to love it, really nice office and great staff.
i use Dr.Oliver Favoli... hes in fort myers... his office is AMAZING! the thing i absolutly loved about him is, my sons frist visist (age2) Dr.Favoli came into the room with a doggie face mask on and he was hopping around and barking like a dog. my son thought it was hilarious... then he gave him a set of fake teeth And and instrument so they could look at "those" teeth and THEN his teeth... my son also let him do x-ray and cleanings, and EVERYTHING... office is very kid friendly and staff is amazing... my son is 4 now and LOVES going to the "teeth doctor". ;-) i HIGHLY recomend him!
We used Dr. Tim Verwest on Cypress Lake Blvd. in Fort Myers. His staff is excellent.

Dont use dr. Tim verwest he is rude,, unprofessional and only sees our kids as walking money for him... Use any one else......
If you are in Lee County, try Dr. Tim Verwest! My girls like him, but really they spend more time with the assistants, who are just great!
Also, Dr Hill has been good. we had to use him when our Dr was out of town.( he's in another practice)
They are both in Fort Myers.

Barkley Circle Dental Center for Children in Ft Myers. Awesome Dentist. Expensive though. My kids have been to three dentists, the first two wanted to work on the kids without me in the room. One actually used restraints. My children cried at both. I finally found Barkley. Parents are allowed in. Everything is out in the open, so the kids are not isolated from each other. There's tv's in there. They are sooo gentle.
We use Barkley Circle. Both my kids 6 & 3 like going to the dentist.
