They have rules no cup cakes, must be a healthy snack and if candy is sent in it will just be sent home with the kids which all of this is fine he is only in preschool for 2 1/2 hours but i want to come up with something fun i will need 15 treats.I know there has to be some moms out here with some great ideas!!!!!

I saw a cute snack on pinterest one time where they took a snack size zip lock bag and put a clothes pin clip in the middle. But the clothespin was painted and antennas were added. Then one the one side of the bag they added grapes on the other were goldfish crackers so that it looked like a butterfly. Super cute!

In my son's daycare, we couldn't bring in anything home made because they had to see the ingredients. If that is the same for you, maybe oatmeal raisin cookies, granola bars, strawberries and bananas with yogurt to dip them in, kettle corn.

Does it have to be food? If so, Jello Jigglers might be fun. If not, I used to send a small bag of crayons/pencils and an activity book.

We always did the little fruit snacks - fruit roll-ups, etc. Those seemed to be ok even tho they still are not the most healthy but it's better than candy.

Don't they give you a list of what IS ok?? They should!

What about a non-food treat? I used to go to the dollar store and get little games, puzzles, jacks, etc. I would make up little gift bags. Kids seemed to love that!

Good luck!! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to your little guy!! (I miss those years!)

Ants on a log? It's celery with peanut butter and raisins on top. If you don't have allergies in the class, it's a hit! Or, you can do mini muffins, fruit pizza...rice krispy treats are always welcomed, too! Have fun!

I normally buy blueberry or chocolate chip mini muffins and fruit, grapes, strawberries some times bananas or watermelon. Kids love it!

As treats, at target $1 dollars section you can always find fun things I would send something like a colors/little note book, pencil, eraser set or a small toy to be sent home. I have not sent goody bag to school though, just the food. Kids love stickers and those little novelty toys you can find anywhere that sells party stuff.

Good luck!
