Glo, I had the bladder sling procedure to help with my bladder.
It's been almost 2 years and no issues.
I'm a 56 women and have been seeing a urologist for a year. I'm between stage 1 and 2 and he is not ready to fix it. I would like to find something to hold it up and I am asking for any ideas. I do not have incontinence

A pessary works well. It is a latex ring you insert and wear all the time. It is inexpensive and easy to use.
Glo,
I see that 2 years ago you posted about your uterus being prolapsed. If you are 56, why doesn't your doctor just do a hysterectomy and take care of both problems at once?
The prolapsed bladder is caused by age and child-bearing. You can do exercises to strengthen your core, but not sure if that will be enough.
I had a hysterectomy in Feb 2010. At that time, I got the sling put in as well. Talk with your doctor. Be more proactive about your health. Stop waiting for the doctor to say "okay" - tell your doctor you've had enough and this is complicating your life.
My mother used a pessary; something to put in the vagina to push the bladder up. A urologist suggested my daughter could use one but she didn't want to.
Thank you for your question glo.

If you are into natural methods, there is a procedure called the "uterine lift". It is where you actually externally lift the uterus by cupping your hands at the base of your pelvis and lifting up and holding it for 30 seconds and repeating it a couple of times per day. You could probably google it and get more information.
