Pumpkin Patch near Chandler?

Hi everyone!

I am looking for a pumpkin patch near our home in Chandler. We have a 15 month old daughter and a 2 1/2 yr old son. I've never been to a pumpkin patch before, but wanted to take my little ones to one that wouldn't be too expensive ($14 a person is too much!), but would have a little bit more than just pumpkins in an empty parking lot for my little ones.

Anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to travel more than 15 miles from Chandler.

Thank you in advance! :)

Hi B.,
I don't know where you are in Chandler but Vertuccio Farm in Gilbert has a real nice fall festival your daughter and son would love. The farm is located on Power Rd. just north of the 202. The cost is $7.00/ person and children under 4 are free. You can check out their website at www.vertucciofarms.com

You can go to Mother Nature's Farm, we went there last year and today, but it was way too hot today so maybe next weekend if it cools off. I thought they had more to offer last year, but maybe I just forgot... It is $3 for adults and $7 for kids (you can go to their website and print off a free coupon for one adult). What to expect: not much, a store, a lame hay ride (but it is a real tractor and hay so kids like it), some giant pumpkins, the kids get to pick their own small pumpkin and decorate it with stickers, there is a bouncy thing (too dark to really see in), and some animals to look at - cow, goats, chickens, roosters...
They are located on Gilbert and Baseline. http://www.mothernaturesfarm.com/

there is one that my husband and I go to on baseline between maybe gilbert or val vista. I know thats sounds like crummy directions but its on the south side of the street maybe just take a drive. Even on Halloween they had alot left to take cute pictures by. The also have like farm tour I think but you had to pay for that so we decided against it. Good luck our kids are about the same age so have a great halloween.

I also liked the Mother Natures farm (yes, fully, fully lame hay ride, but yes the kids do like it) My kiddo really liked the hay maze (hay bales stacked up into a maze) Not the best farm in the world, but definitely worth the trip.

I also like the Botanical Gargens for Halloween. They have a GREAT pumpkin patch with a pretty decent hay ride over to it. When I went a couple years ago, it was right out front. Nice. But packed. But worth it.

Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek is really neat and has so much to do. Its on Rittenhouse and Combs. You can get discount coupons at Frys which makes it $12 to get in. Check out their website for all the stuff they have and do. www.schnepffarms.com
Good luck

We had a great time at Mother Nature's Farm. Got the $3 off from their website, so we paid $7. We brought a picnic lunch and made a morning of it.
