question.Specific Parenting Style

I don't really care what parenting style I have or not.
I parent, and it is my job to know my kids and their cues/development/personality etc. So parenting is not about one style or not. Because, it is a highly mult-layered thing. And can change on a dime. And what works for one kid may not for the other.

I would like to applaud you in your determined efforts to make this website work for you.

& I'd like to add: perhaps, just as varying discipline methods have not worked for your daughter....maybe your "style" of parenting needs to be "yours" & no one else's. :)

Has your daughter ever been screened for developmental issues? I noticed one poster mentioned Oppositional Defiance....there are many other issues which could create the world you are living in. Perhaps your jumping off point should be videoing your daughter's behavior & discussing it with her doctor. I wish you Peace! For me, that has always been achieved thru "1-2-3 Magic". :)
