I am on the hunt for a good chinese restaurant hopefully close to home, in Aurora. I"m not far from Provena Mercy Hospital , Lake and Indian Trail.
There is one that is not too far from me it is on Randall Rd and Oak Street, so far that has been decent, some good stuff , some ok.
I went to one that was not too far from our home, never saw it but decided to try
Yuck, did not like it at all, the meat had such a weird taste and so chewy i thought i was eating rubber bands. The place was also not so clean,looked old and dingy looking. So if there are any great chinese restaurants out there,that are clean, ( kid friendly ) and great tasting food, its ok if not close, please recommend.

Bok Choy, Bolingbrook/Downers Grove: www.bokchoycafe.com--only been once, but thought the fried rice was awesome. Egg rolls were good, as well as mongolian beef and orange chicken. They also have sushi.

The best Chinese restaurant in the area is Gen-Hoe in Geneva. It is well worth the trip. We eat there all the time. The staff is great and the food is top notch. Here is the address and phone number:

Make sure you try the Double or Two Happiness, I can't remember the exact name. It is shrimp and scallops in a cream sauce. It is a house specialty. You can not get it anywhere else. Also, pot stickers are great and if you like spicy things try the hot & sour soup.

Try this three. I didn't try the first one but my mom did and she said it was good. She ate fish and rice.
The 2nd one is good but little bit salty so we always ask them make the meal less salty.
The 3rd one I didn't try this one but they have another shop in Chinatown. They are very famous and good but they are not really Chinese food. They are combining Asia food together.
