Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good ob/gyn in Oregon. I live in Clackamas - but husband works in Vancouver, WA so anywhere in between would be good. Trying to get pregnant after last child 13 years ago. Thanks!

The best of the best as far as I'm concerned is Dr. Jenna Murray. Her office is in the Legacy Good Sam. Hospital in NW. I live in Milwaukie and it's no problem to get to her office, and there is usually ample parking in the parking garage, so don't be swayed by the location.
Dr. Murray is kind, personable and makes you feel like a partner in your healthcare. She will always listen to your concerns and give you the information you need to make informed decisions.
All of the doctors in the office are quite good, and the staff is wonderful too. When I've called with questions the nurse or nurse practicioner has called me right back. They remember who I am, and ask me questions about my son, which makes for a very pleasant trip to the office.

Dr. Amy Schmitke, or ANY of her partners are AMAZING!!!!! I highly recommend them! They have an office at Providence Portland and also at Emanuel so they take all kinds of insurance, high risk pregnancy issues etc. She is the most compassionate physician I have ever met and will never see anyone else!
