Referral for OBGYN That Delivers at Denton Presby or Denton Regional

Having had a baby at Presby and one at Regional, DON'T go to Regional. I have a friend who has had great experiences there but my experience was horrifying. That being said I liked my Dr. (Dr. Reaves) but... If you want more details just sent me a private message. I have 4 kids and have had them all at 4 different hospitals and I would not recommend Regional to anyone. I like Dr. Walsh, but I have heard great things about Dr. Marc Wilson and Dr. Christina Dooley and the both deliver at Presby.

Oh, Dr. Dooley is a hands down win!! I have delivered 5 children, the last 2 with her, and she was amazing! Easy going, but thorough, funny, yet compassionate. Cant say enough good things about her. She definitely supports any decisions you want to make, and will respect your thoughts and concerns. Basically..she is the best:)

Dr. Marc Wilson is the best doctor I have ever had, hands down. Amazing bedside manner. He delivered all 3 of my babies. Just an all around great person.

I am going to third Dr. Christina Dooley. I LOVE her! I used her as my Gyn. before I got pregnant and continued with her during my pregnancy. She listens to how YOU want your birth to be and works with you to achieve that as long as it's medically safe. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you choose her!

Dr. Marc Wilson is my hero! He is located right behind Presby. His partner is Dr. McDonald.

Ditto to Laura KS. My daughter-in-law and I both love Dr. Popov.

I have been to a few different doctors in Denton. No one compares to Dr. Christina Dooley. I absolutely lover her. She devilers at Denton Presbyterian. She is very thorough, smart and well-studied. She has amazing skills as a doctor but she is even more amazing as a person (you know the skills you can't learn at any school). She is very compassionate, loving and kind. She really cares about her patients and goes above and beyond. She is supportive of whatever type of birth you desire while keeping you safe. I recommended you schedule consult visits with the doctors you are considering.

Sounds like we had a similiar first birth experience! I am delivering my second baby in June with Dr. Asis at Denton Prespyterian. He is in Dr. Dooley's practice. He is new to the area (but been an OB for 30+ years) and I really like him. He supports natural childbirth and has a great bedside manner. He doesn't have a lot of patients here yet so he's easy to get in to see! I also saw Dr. Cummings (head of OB at Denton Prespy) for one check up and he is great but doesn't accept new patients.

I go to Caring for Women on Mayhill across from Denton Regional. Their doctors deliver at both hospitals. Monica Popov is my OB and she's wonderful - delivered both of my babies at Regional too. Love her! Their website it www.cfwdenton.com. Good luck!
