I second Capital Women's Care, but I use the Silver Spring office. Dr. Tyau and Dr. Sine are my favorites (Dr. Tyau delivered my daughter last summer.)
I am 29 weeks pregnant and would like to change my OB/GYN...had a bad experience with my current one. Does anyone have an OB/GYN they'd recommend?

Another plug for Capital Women's Care with Grossman, Laurin, Lee, etc.
I really liked the overall practice, and saw each of the doctor's at one point during my pregnancy. Dr. Wei actually delivered the baby and both she and Dr. Laurin are the two doctors I saw most while there. Dr. Wei was definitely my favorite of the two, though I liked them both.
The only doctor I didn't really care for was Dr. Grossman - mostly b/c I didn't feel like he and I "connected" - which might just be b/c he's a man - he was professional and attentive when I saw him though.
When I was 32 weeks pregnant I switched from an OB GYN practice to Midwifery Care Associates. I was so happy I made this choice, as they provide excellent and very personal care. If you are open to midwives I highly recommend MCA. They deliver at Shady Grove Hospital and are chartered w/ an OB practice (Simmonds and Simmonds) in the event of complications or high risk situations. Whatever you decide good for you for making a switch if you aren't happy with your current provider!
Be careful with Capital Women's Care. I heard from a friend who used to work there that some doctors at this group are using Mirenas and Paragards imported from other countries. This means they are not FDA approved. This puts patients at risk because coming from other countries, the product's identity, purity, source, handling, and storage cannot be verified. Using these overseas pharmacies can risk receiving unsafe and ineffective counterfeits, even if they appear the same. And the physician can save hundreds of dollars on the non-FDA approved product, but charges you and your insurance the same price as a US FDA-approved product. Please be careful and ask to see the box and insert with ENGLISH language only. If you think you had an unapproved IUD inserted in the past five years, go back and talk to your doctor about a fda-approved replacement at no charge. My name is S. Walker. I can be reached at ###-###-#### or ###-###-####. I need a doctor asap. I need to get my depo. shot.
I also go to Capitol Womens Care in Rockville. I am 17 weeks pg and have only seen Dr. Laurin who I love but all the Dr's seem nice, I will see Dr. Wei next week. The front desk staff is also very friendly.
I highly recommend Dr. Rafiq Mian. He is a very good OB/GYN. He delivered both of my children and I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. His practice is located at Holy Cross Hospital. Good Luck!

I go to Capital Women's Care based in Rockville and Gaithersburg MD. All of the doctors are very nice. Although I definitely prefer a few of them over the others:
Grossman, Lauran are good
Lee seems to be a good doctor but I feel like she doesn't really connect with her patients at all.
Haven't had much experience with the rest.
