I have a four year old son, who will be turning 5 in October. I am looking for a well respected preschool or pre-k program in West Bloomfield. Possibly a half day program because he has other activities in the afternoon. Any suggestions ? I really appreciate it.
Hi Y.,
I send my boys to Miss Carolyn's Montessori. It it in Waterford, but borders West Bloomfield. She is extremely affordable...especially when compared to other Montessori schools. Not to mention the quality of the education she gives them is beyond any other preschool/daycare I have ever tried!

She offers both part time and full time.
If you have any questions, please send me a message. Otherwise, her website has some great information.
Good Luck!

I LOVED the JCC. We are not Jewish but I had so many good reports about it so I went and had a look. They have excellent facilities, great teachers and a brilliant program. Their rates are very reasonable especially if you wanted to join the health club, they deduct a fair bit from the preschool fee. If I remember correctly when my son enrolled it was cheaper for us to do a swimming membership and get the first year of preschool at a greatly reduced rate than if we didnt join the swimming.
Check it out....you have nothing to lose by looking!

Oh....also I checked out the YMCA and they had a VERY inexpensive program which was pretty good too.
Hi Y., My daughter has been at Kindercare at Middlebelt and Maple for a couple of years now and we love it... They have an additional program where you can sign your child up for a foreign language, math, music classes etc above the regular class.
