I need an affordable divorce lawyer, my husband and I have reached the point of no return. It's becoming a battle field with who could hurt who the most, emotionally that is. The kids are feeling it the most and there is no mediation between us. He is ruthless and he's not afraid to show it. If anyone has any advise or a solution please feel free to respond. I cannot afford a cut throat lawyer.

Hi N.. I'm sorry here things are so hard. I just befriended a wonderful woman who is a divorce lawyer in Manhattan. Are you in NY? She told me it is important to get a lawyer from your state, I actually think that one from another state wouldn't be able to help you, with all the rules and everything.
