Hi, my family and I have recently moved back to the States from Japan and we are looking into buying cellphones. Can anyone give us some advice in cellphone carriers (as far as good reception) in Palos Verdes Peninsula area? We are concerned about the reception up on the hill here.
Thank you for those who responded. I really appreciate all the info. With two little ones it's not easy doing research on things like cellphones. I will look into Sprint and Verizon. Coming back into a fast pace consumerism hasn't been easy for us. So, again. thank you for such a quick response.
Verizon has good PV service.
I have verizon. It works from every room in our house. I used to have AT&T (Cingular). It was awful.

I live in Hermosa but my previous employer lived in PV. He had service through Sprint. It must have worked well for him as he was ALWAYS on his phone! My husband and I also have Sprint and rarely have any trouble. I have heard very bad things about AT&T so I would avoid them if possible.

My husband is in IT and was doing some work in a PV home recently. The home owner told him that out of all the people that were there no one elses cell phone worked. She asked who his carrier was because no othere phones could be used. We have Cingular.

I don't live up there, but everytime I do go up there, my service sucks - I have T-Mobile, so stay away from them if you want your phone to work!!!!
