Seeking Church in Broomfield/Louisville That's Very Kid Friendly!

I am Lutheran and live in Broomfield, but we usually attend First Pres in Boulder (which I love but it is far and perhaps too large). We are looking for a closer Christian church that has a great sunday school, and both contemp and traditional worship services. Also any churches with an optional Wedneday night service are ideal. Our family really wants to find our home church to get involved in.....it has got to be out there ;) Anyone love theirs?
Thanks so much!

Christ the Servant Lutheran Church is wonderful. They have a huge Sunday school program as well as adult classes on Sundays. Pastor Dan is wonderful! It is in Louisville just off of Via Appia (near the rec center). Hope that helps!

Flatirons Community Church is a special place. We love it there and have been going for the last couple of years. It's on South Boulder Road near Vitamin Cottage in Lafayette. You can google it for more info. My two little guys (ages 4 1/2 and 2 1/2) love the children's programs and really look forward to going every week. That says a lot for the church I think!

Hey there,
My husband is a pastor at a Lutheran Campus Ministry in Boulder (ours is the only kid there) but we have a good friend who is the pastor at Risen Savior in Broomfield. He is actually one of two pastors there. They have so many great programs for kids and adults and they are actually just begining a building project since the church is growing. They do comtemporary and traditional worship, they have a variety of Sunday School and Bible classes and a playgroup that meets every other Wednesday morning. Here is some of their information:

Risen Savior Lutheran Church

It's right down the street from the new Goddard School and Broomfield Pediatrics Office. They don't have a Wednesday evening service, but they do have a casual Monday night service. If you want to know anything else, please feel free to contact me. Hope this helps and blessings on your search!

My husband and I go to a smaller church in Superior. It's called Cool River church, very kid friendly. We actually meet in Eldorado k-8 school, right off of Coalton and Indiana. We only have one service and it's more contemporary than traditional. But we love it! All of our family live back in texas, so this church really is our family. Service starts at 10:20am. Here's the website www.coolriverchurch.com if you want to check it out! Oh and no Wednesday night service, we have our small groups that meet at that time. You can find all of that info on the website or shoot me an email if you have questions. ____@____.com

We attend Risen Saviour Lutheran church in Broomfield and are very happy there. We love it for many reasons, but I would say one of the main reasons is that we have been able to connect with several other families that have young children. In fact, they have become some of our closest friends, and our children have become great friends as well! We have also been extremely happy with the Sunday School program! It is currently offered during the 9:30 service and Children's Church is offered during the 11:00 service. We do not participate in the playgroup that Heather mentioned, as my children are both in school now, but I do believe the group has a few boys in the 3-4 year old range.

Also, you mentioned an optional Wednesday evening service. Risen Savior currently offers a Monday evening service. However, during the Advent and Lenten seasons they offer a special Wednesday evening service.

Please feel free to contact me at ____@____.com if you would like more information about the church and/or the Sunday School program. Also, I would be happy to help you connect with some of the families that have children the same age as your son.

I am Presbyterian and started going to Broomfield United Methodist by the high school. I tried a few churches in the area and really feel at home there. It is awesome!!! They have a great sunday school program broken down by ages. My kids love it there. The services are either traditional or contemporary. I LOVE the pastor there and the contemporary services. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. There are a lot of good churches in the area. Victory church off 120th and Sheridan is a good Non Denominational church I have heard good things about it. There is Calvary Church too by the Methodist church and have heard great things about that too.

We attend North Metro Church. There is a great childrens program there. my husband and I use to teach 1st -4th. Now my husband teaches 5th and 6th. I take care of our 9 month old and then attend 10:30 service with him. we don't have a wed. service though. and we don't have traditional service. We offer two services 9 and 10:30. Its not a mega church but its not a small church either. We have agreat worship team!! and then Pastor James is incredibly humble and transparent and real. Very scripture based!! You can check it out at northmetrochurch.org
Best of luck seeking a church

We love our church: Cool River, in Superior. It's a small congregation but so friendly and lots to do for the kids! My husband is Lutheran & I grew up Catholic but we love how contemporary it is. There isn't a Wed night service but there all kinds of groups that meet on Weds and other days if you choose to participate. Check it out- we'd love to have you visit: www.coolriverchurch.com
