I am looking for a pediatrician in McKinney for our 5 yr old son. His current pediatrician is in Plano. We moved to TX 3 yrs ago & were living in Plano but now that we are in Mckinney, we would like to find a pediatrician closer to home. Any suggestions?

I just recently switched my girls to Dr. Menchaca. She is so wonderful! I mean it! We were going to "the castle" All About Children's and had major problems with them with both girls. Such as, having a catheter put in to draw urine because they had fever with no other symptoms. They were very difficult to schedule well visits. Sorry to vent! Love Dr. Menchaca!

We have been taking our children to Pediatric Healthcare Associates for several years now and while we were originally using Dr. Kessinger, we switched to Dr. Menchaca when our son was born and have loved her! We also live in McKinney and the office is great. We have friends who use Dr. Frank (she's excellent especially if your child had any allergy issues) and Dr. Sutton too. When the Dr's have been booked we've used the PA, Sonia, and she has been just as great.

We go to PHA as well and we second Debi's suggestion.
We use Dr. Suzanne Dugopolski at ABC pediatrics on Virginia, and she's great. DD was born with a heart defect, and she not only caught it, but helped us through all the complex specialists and eventual surgery. She's also great for last minute appointments. We called once when DD caught her hand in the storm door and needed stitches--she said drive right over rather than go to the ER, and she did the stitches herself. Last week I got a call from daycare that DD was sick, so called the office from the car on the way to pick up DD, and Dr. Suzanne saw her within the hour.
We go to All About Children off Eldorado. Dr. Burton and everyone there is great.
