If anyone knows of a good family or pediatric dentist in the Plano/Frisco area, we'd love to know. My oldest had a BAAAAAD first dental experience and we have worked hard to overcome it, but need to find a place that is good with kids... if anyone knows of a good family dentist that would be a good option as well.

Thanks so much.

We use Dr. Goodowitz in Plano. He is a family dentist that i have been going to since i was 3. The 2 hygenist there are wonderful with children. I have and 8 and 6 year old. The 6 year old does not like going to the dentist but they work with her and it is great. i highly recommend them.

We've always taken my 4-year-old to "Dr. Jeff" Jaynes at Spring Creek and Coit ###-###-####. He's a pediatric dentist. My daughter is extremely shy and was very afraid of going initially, but they have been great with her and she's overcome her fear.

My husband and I see Dr. Edwin McDonald in the same building ###-###-####, and have for probably 15 years. They are practically like family to us. We have both had fillings, crowns, implants, etc. over the years and have always been happy with them. He's the absolute best dentist I've ever had, and looks at the whole picture, your history, etc.

Best of luck with your dental search.

I have a family dentist, Dr. Moisa Sapozhnikov, with Dental Attraction Center, ###-###-####. She is located at Independence and Legacy in Plano. My older two kids see her, 13 and 11 year old. She's looked at my 2 year old's mouth briefly, but he was right under 2 when we went. He chipped his teeth, she said when he got a little older and not so afraid she'd fix them so you couldn't even tell.

She's really good, I've had a lot of bad experience with dentist too, she's the best I've had since moving to Texas over 10 years ago.

Good Luck

If you want a pediatric dentist I highly recommend Dr. Patrick Ryan in Plano. He is wonderful. Let me know if you would like to know more about Dr. Bess' office.

Dr Tim Brister at Texas Pediatric Dentistry at Custer and El Dorado. My daughter had a melt down as soon as the regular dentist said she had a cavity. They suggested Dr. Brister and he was great. She wound up having the tooth pulled and I was prepared for a really traumatic experience, but she did great. She loves them.
