I have lived at my current location for almost a year and I do not know any of my neighbor's, although I speak, they just don't seen that friendly. I feel so lonely here in Georgia because, I have no friends (male or female) or family and I'm currently unemployed. I am also unfamiliar with the area and there's nothing to do in the area besides eat & shop. Most of the time I stay indoor's unless, my child & I are doing something together. I do not drink,do drugs or party. I love doing things with my child but as a 47 year old single female I want to enjoy the company of other adults.Is there a Mom's Club/Group in my area or somewhere Single's can mix and mengle?

Sorry you moved to Georgia and became unemployed. I hope you are able to find a job soon!
I would suggest http://www.meetup.com. I would also look in to things like ChristianMingle.com - there might be other like-minded people to meet up with and meet.

What do you like to do? Perhaps take a class thru Parks and Recreation. Look in the newspaper at the listings of things to do and try those out. Perhaps join a book club thru the library.
I also suggest that you do things for yourself. Take up walking. You'll be surprised at how that will help you feel better, more confident, and healthier. And walking costs nothing. Take an exercise class on TV. Do they still have those? I just realized I haven't seen on lately.
And, go to the library and ask for help in finding books on child development and parenting a teen.
