Red Cedar Gymnastics has open gym for preschoolers so you see if your daughter likes it before committing to a class.
Hello moms! I am looking into getting my 3 year old daughter in some activities outside of the house. She recently finished Kindermusik, which she loved, but thought I may try something different. Have you discovered any activities that your children really enjoyed doing, and if so where are they located? I have tried to do some research but seem to come up empty handed. I thought possibly tumbling/gymnastics may be fun but am unsure where to go for that. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

All four of our kids go to Red Cedar Gymnastics. We've been going there for almost nine years now. They are located about three miles east of Okemos High School. The phone number is: ###-###-####.
You could also contact Okemos Community Education or the YMCA to see what classes your daughter might enjoy like dance, swimming, etc.
Good luck!
Hi Sadie,
If you decide to try dance, Elizabeth Williams in Williamston is a wonderful instructor and offers classes in many different types of dance. She is very patient and at the end of the year she puts on a production of either Nutcracker or Camalot. All of the kids have the opportunity to be in the production regardless of their age and ability. She also has them in parades and summer festivals. Loads of fun.
Hi Sadie. I live in Lansing, work in Okemos. I take my 5 yr old daughter to Rising Star Dance Studio. They are great and have a variety of dance classes for all ages. It is very reasonably priced and they have 2 locations in Lansing and also in DeWitt. Their webiste is RisingStarhome.com I've also heard good things about Red Cedar Gymnastics!
