Breckinridge Park is just north of Garland, it is actually in Garland and Richardson. There is a very nice waterfall (no trees) at the Retreat on Campbell. All the kids go there to take pictures before school dances. It is right across from Firewheel Golf Course, which would also be a nice setting. It is not really country, but there is an old mansion called Alexander Mansion on Avenue D near Downtown Garland. There is a pretty little fountain and the backdrop of Antebellum home.

Harry Myers Park in Rockwall. And there's a gazebo in Rowlett around downtown that we took pictures at that looks out into a field with a barn.

Welcome to mamapedia!

I'm sorry - what is an engagement session?

Is that for engagement photos? I guess I am old school. Man - anything to get a dime for the "wedding" now right? You realize this isn't about the wedding - it's about the MARRIAGE - right?

There's Chandler's Gardens....Stone Creek Terrace....Tankersley Gardens...

if that's what you are looking for. Your photography SHOULD know this and be prepared to tell you these things..

Good luck!

Where in Garland? There are some really pretty parks close to the Garland Sachse boarder and some others closer to Rowlett...... I am a wedding planner as well so let me know and I can get you more information on just about anything. Also Alexander Mansion USED to be a great backdrop, it has since gone out of business so I am not so sure about the property upkeep. Again if you or anyone else reading this for that matter needs wedding advice or is looking for a planner please contact me.
