Can y'all recommend a good pediatrician? We're at the end of our rope with our current one. There are docs in the same practice that we like, but they won't let patients switch docs within the practice.
Thanks everyone for the info! I'm going to check with Dr. Adams and Squires on Monday. And just FYI, we've never had a problem with Drs Goff or Day. I only wish we could switch to one of them because their practice is so close to our neighborhood.
We see Dr. Day at Cook's Children on Teasley he is WONDERFUL, he has called after hours to check on us and his follow up is incredible. His nurses Heather and Sarah, go way above and beyond. If I call in the morning with concerns that I know they don't need to go to the office right away for, Heather many times has called later in the evening to double check.
I hope you find the right person you are looking for.
I don't know who you see now, but we see Dr. Squiers and absolutely LOVE him. However, we had to see Dr. Janke one time when he was out of the office and I did not like her at all (we will never see her again). His office is located on Bonnie Brae, between the hospital and Universtiy Dr. intersection. Good Luck, I hope you find what you are looking for. It is very important to find someone that you can trust and talk too and who will listen to you.
We use Dr. David Goff at Cook's on Teasley as well! We have also seenn Dr. Day, and one other Dr. there when Dr. Goff wasn't in. They are all very nice and the nurses are great (except there is one I don't care for :-O!), and they went above and beyond when my daughrter had some testing done at the hospital and they called me to come back to the office after hours so she could get an antibiotic shot! They are very thorough and I really like it there! Oh, and separate sick/well kids waiting areas too!

I have used Dr. Hedayati since my 1o year old was a baby. She is wonderful! She listens to your input and explains everything so that you can understand. She also never over books. So no long waits to get in and there has never been more than one other person in the waiting room instead of a room full of sick miserable kids! Her office is located on Bonnie Brae ###-###-####. Plus she will know you by name, remember things about you and your family, and recognize you outside of the office. She has such a friendly down to earth approach!

I am SO on board with all of the Doctors at Cooks on Teasley! We go to Dr. Day but have seen all of them, Dr. Goff...oh my goodness, they are all wonderful! If Dr. Day is out and we have to see someone else it's fine b/c they all atke good care of you! Like someone else said, their nurses, Heather are all so sweet and helpful too! So I would totally recomend you checking them out! Good luck!
