I love to read! a few of my favorites are self help books or true inspiring stories and I was wondering if you had any suggestions to books you loved that I could go get from the library. A few titles I loved were,"wake up to a happier life." and the best one ever was "how to win friends and influence others." Also, "the last lecture" was incredible. I am having some maritial issues and of course the all time child care problems everyone has. So if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them. I need fast readers though that are not hard to read or take too much time as 3 kids doesn't give me much time. (true stories or self help books.)

What can I do next?

Rhonda Britten, any of her books. I love change your life in 30 days, and Do I look fat in this. I am going through Fearless living right now and then onto fearless loving. She's an inspiring woman (did you ever watch the starting over house? she is the life coach from that show) I've been through CYL (Change your life) a couple of times and have done DILFIT a couple of times as well. Both have really helped me a lot.
Fearless Loving would probably be a great one for you with your marriage...but she approaches it with love yourself first mentality--which I really like so be prepared for that.
I really like His Needs Her Needs by Dr. Harley (can't think of his first name)
and I love the 5 Love Languages
I'm always reading self help books too! If you have some you love send them my way!! I'm doing one on Mind and Body connection right now which tells your exercise type and which exercises are best for your personality/body type--also working on using it for my kids it was recommended to me by another mom on a request I sent out. I am really enjoying the read.
I'd have to look at who the author is--hehe. let me know if you want that one, or you can find it in my requests, you'll know the post when you read it as it was the only book suggested to me.

I loved reading "The Prizewinner of Defiance Ohio". By: Terry Ryan. It is a true story of an amazing woman. It is an easy read and one you will want to finish the minute you start reading. It was hard to put down for me and my friends.

The Secret
What to Say When You Talk to Yourself
Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway
anything by Jack Canfield (I think he's also author of Chicken Soup for the Soul - if not that's a good one too).

These books deal a lot with attitue and emotional management, and can be inspiring too.

Also, Miracles Happen (Mary Kay Ash's autobiography) is an amazing story. And The Mary Kay Way is great if you manage anybody (either in a workplace environment or even just at home!)

Happy reading!

It's an old classic but I love 'the road less traveled'. It is a cross between self-help psychology and religion and one of the most influential books in america. Great book!
