My parents used to be distributors for them back in the 80's and 90's. As you can see they have been around for a LONG time and my parents loved them. They are all natiral and yes environmentally safe.
Has anyone used Shaklee Products for your home?
They are supposed to be safer for you and the environment?
I'd like to hear any feedback.
Thanks- Elaine

I have used Shaklee products for years and love them! My husband and I and my parents use many of their products and are very pleased with their effectiveness.
I have used them and like them well enough. For the price though, I prefer vinegar, baking soda, and lemon. Cleaning your house should not cost so much. That's my opinion though. Also, have you tried Seventh Generation?
My grandmother sold Shaklee - so I grew up around it - using it - and so did the entire family! I am currently involved with another "green" company Melalucca - I'd love to tell you more - the concept is EXACTLY the same as Shaklee. They have all environment safe - great products that are completely safe for your family! Here's my site - www.livetotalwellness.com/txjobs

I agree with the other poster. You can make natural cleaners yourself from home, for pennies on the dollar! A lot of these companies claim to have ALL natural products, and that's simply not true, so don't let them fool you (and I used to sell for one of them lol). Make your own, or buy Seventh Generation, etc from your local store.
Hey Elaine,
I don't have personal experience with Shaklee. I use Melaleuca like some of the other moms do and they are safer for the environment and I have found them to be great for our family. They do NOT claim to be All natural but rather they combine the best of science and nature. Not everything in nature is good for us and not everything man-made is bad for us.
We have really loved how our house smells and we really like the new Organic line of snack foods. We have a 9 yo and a 4 yo who like them...that says a lot for us!
Hope you find the right solution for your family to get more "green" in your life. Let me know if I can help you learn more about Melaleuca.
Best Wishes,
M.

I use the cleaning products and I have been very pleased with them. The cleaning products are concentrated so you only use a little bit at a time. I have been really pleased with the way my laundry smells as well. I have a fabulous person that you can talk to about Shaklee and her name is Jude Peskuski. Her number is ###-###-#### and she can answer any of your questions. I started using this product after I saw it on Oprah and have no regreats.

I have a neighbor that has used them for years, because they are all natural. She loves all their products
We use them and they are awesome! Basic H can be used a hundred different ways - I use it to make window cleaner, foaming hand cleanser (with some Basic G in one of those "soaper foamer" pumps), to clean the floors, I put a little in a sink full of water for soaking all the fruits & veggies I bring home (it removes the pesticides), and I have even bathed my kids in it! I also use Basic G, their dish washer cleaner (can't remember the name!), Liquid At Ease (it's fabulous but I'm not sure they carry it right now) and the fabric softener. I can't say enough good things about their products!
I haven't used Shaklee, but I do use Melaleuca products. Safer for your family and the environment. They are less expensive than Shaklee and they offer more - over 400 products!

Hi Elaine,
I have been using Shaklee cleaning products for about 4 yrs now and I love them. I have noticed that the dishwasher and laundry detergent actually work out cheaper since they are in higher concentrations and I tend to use a small quantity. If you want more information about how to obtain these products please let me know.
Thanks!
FD.
I use Melaleuca cleaning products. They are not expensive if you realize that you are buying the concentrated formula and adding a little to your spray bottle and filling the rest with water. That means you will make about 4 bottles of cleaner before you have to buy another! They are non-toxic and effective. By the way, I'm not looking for a customer...I'm just a happy consumer! Here's the email of a marketing rep: ____@____.com
My husband and I have used them and he has sold them for 15 years. They are wonderful products and great for allergy sufferers and those who are chemically sensitive.
I've never used them. I've heard good things about the quality but not so good things about the prices. You can get better quality at lower prices from other companies!
I use them and I love them! They last a long time too.
If they let you buy the product without paying to be part of their program and you like the stuff use it, but be aware:
My understanding is it is a multi-level marketing program like Amway and Mary Kay. Both of those companies make a decent product but your main concern should be whether your colleague or friend wants you to cough up $50-$100 to become a "member" or "associate" or whatever the multi-level marketing pyramids are calling their folks these days.
I went to the melaleuca site and it looks like another program just like them.
Do your research. I see a lot of feedback from a lot of people who sell this or that or who are total skeptics. There is so much out there and you will need to know what you are looking for so you don't get confused. What products or health concerns do you have? I have used many products from many different companies and have friends that sell from many different companies and we all buy from each other and support each other's businesses in that way. Although, I do my research first before I use anything such as calling the scientists for the companies and asking specific questions to ensure the quality, efficacy, purity, and potency of their products. If you want to choose to build a business with a company, take your time deciding but when you decide, you can be successful at whatever you choose, as long as you "do it". I was making $900-$1,500 a month when I was "working" a multi-level marketing company. I took a break and still get nearly $200 a month. Choose something that you firmly believe in their mission, want to support the person, and that you love to use. Have someone come over to show you how to use them and show you on a diagram how economical they are in comparison to other companies.
Hope this helps anyone out there who is considering using or distributing with any direct selling or muti-level company.

Hi, I tried the Shaklee and Preferred the Melaleuca products. I have switched my entire household and love the products from the vitamins to the shampoo and beauty and the cleaning products are top notch and less expensive than store bought. check out the links below on why you should give them a try and my web site for more info. Also this is NOT a multi level marketing company like Amway or mary kay. and its Super cheap to have a discount membership or you can buy the products with out your discount membership as well so you dont have to "join" Thanks, A. A Book About The Company Melaleuca

I haven't heard of that brand but I love the brand "method". It's sold at Target and is not much more expensive than the other brands. It is safer for the environment and uses no harsh chemicals. It also smells great. They have a daily shower cleaner, floor cleaner, dish soap and the dusting spray uses no cfc's and smells good enough to eat.
I agree with the other moms...Melaleuca products are #1 in my book! They are much cheaper and last forever, and they work like you'd never believe! I don't have eczema anymore, my husband hasn't had an allergy flare-up since we switched, and my daughter has YET to be sick at 19 months old! Everything comes with a 100% money-back guarantee, so just give them a trial-run before you make any decisions.
Best of luck!

I agree with some of the others...Melaleuca is the way to go. They are all natural...help with issues like allergies, asthma, excema! They work amazing!! You'll actually save money with the cleaning products. The food line is amazing...they have almost 400 products!!
Good luck!
