HI K.,
Talk about perfect timing. I just purchased a Shark. I do not use mine on my wood floors, the installer said using a wet swiffer would work just fine. I absolutely love it on my kitchen floor, though (linoleum). My only complaint is that it is harder to push on the floor than you would think. In the commercials, it appears to just glide on top of the floor. In reality, you need to push pretty hard. It works great on the little crevices in the design of my floor (not my choice of floor) and on bathroom tiles, too. It cleans grout well. How new is your wood floor? Being that mine is brand new, I'm afraid to ruin it. If it were older, I'd try it. The product does say that it is safe for sealed wood floors. My wood floor doesn't get that dirty, but the kitchen and the bathrooms do and the Shark works great on that. If you can find one on sale or use the 20% coupon at Bed Bath & Beyond, I think it is well worth the price. Godo Luck~! L.
