Hello all,
My daughter is 13 years old. We have discussed wearing make up several times and have decided that she can wear it when she gets 15 years old. The closer she gets to 14 she is asking again and aigain. I about to tell her she can wear it when she is 18. lol How do you tell them and stick to it. I be about to give in but I explain that she is pretty with out it and that she doesn't need it. She is not going for it at all. Help!

Take her out one day just you and her, like to macy's wink at the counter girl and have her explain to her that she has a beautiful face and she should wait until she is older and that make will damage her face. Take her to a trendy make-up counter. The woman there will understand and will help. Sometimes girls rather hear it from another person rather then "MOM" hope it works good luck.

What type of make-up? I can see a little lip gloss or something but that is where I would draw the line. I went through this with my mom too. She allowed me to start wearing lipstick when I entered High School but trust me..it was only lipstick.

Stick to your guns...tell her that she is much to beautiful and that she doesn't even need make-up.
