Has anyone tried or gotten these shoes? I am a bigger woman and my feet are always hurting when I walk. These look like they might have a more cusioning on the bottom. Or if you are also a heavy woman and found shoes that are super comfortable please let me know. I have tried Addias, Nike, New Balance and Sketcher (just not these new ones).

What can I do next?

I have not tried these, but sketchers are generally narrow for me. My chiropractor recommended MBT's ( they are pricey but i found some deals on Amazon), which I will try, and I have been using Dansko's clogs for a long time, i even walk my dogs on them (they are not sport shoes). They are heavy, and not cushy but your feet and back will thank you at day's end (i didn't believe that until I tried while pregnant and heavy). I learned a trick from a running store one time - when trying new shoes, walk, run, or do whatever you'll do for 15 minutes at the store. The salesperson will not be so thrilled, but remember, it's your feet and your CC.Good luck!

I also recommend MBTs. I developed fairly serious plantar faciitis, and after suffering for 10 months and finally taking the plunge to buy these shoes, I can honestly say they are what "cured" me. In fact, after a week of being on my feet all day, every day WITHOUT wearing my MBTs, they brought me comfort within 10 minutes of putting them on last night.

I wore a pair of ShapeUps around the shoe store for about 10 minutes in December, and while I couldn't put my finger on what was different about them (though definitely noticing a difference, nonetheless), I decided to hold off and try them again after the holidays. I didn't even get that far, because after merely walking to my car, driving 200 yds (I needed to get dog food at the next stop - I wasn't being lazy!), and getting out of my car, my bad heel was sore. That was all I needed to know.

MBTs are expensive, but I tried them on at a local store for fit, then found a pair on eBay for $100 less.

I bought MBT's when I was suffering with foot pain and I could shop again. I had to become used to the slight feeling of being off balance when I first got them. They cost $235 but I have had them for 3 years and they look worn (I got the gray ones) but are still going strong. Recently I saw my chiropractor for help with a knee injury. When she saw me in a pair of Sketcher walking shoes she warned me to avoid them because they lack support.
