Make a trail mix with pretzels, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, dried pineapple, and crackers.
I need some morning snack ideas please. My 5 yr old has to have a morning snack packed for kindergarten. I've been packing pretzels, rice krispy treats, apples, grapes, and cereal for the past couple of weeks. Shes already getting tired of what I have been packing!
Make a trail mix with pretzels, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, dried pineapple, and crackers.
Take her shopping and say these foods you can have for snack. I will buy 2 this week. Let her pick a new one, from your list.
Gogurt, string cheese, cheese and crackers.
Peanut butter & crackers, fruit cups, applesauce....that's all I can think to add :) HTH!
Graham crackers w/peanut butter
Raisins or yogurt covered raisins
Scooby Snacks (my son LOVES them--esp. cinnamon flavored)
Fig Newtons
Carrots & veggie dip--hummus or low fat ranch
Dried fruit
Granola bar
Banana
Pudding cup
Fruit cup
Cheez its
Occasionally change it up with a special treat like a cookie or brownie
?? That's all I got! :)
Yogurt w/granola, string cheese, crackers, raisins, hard boiled egg, trail mix (nuts/seeds/dried fruit) cheerios, half a sandwich (whatever she likes) carrots w/ranch dip, bagel w/cream cheese, beef/turkey jerky, granola/energy bars, pita and hummus...I'm sure there is more but that is what's coming to mind now :)
I like it so much better when the school provides snack and then you don't have to worry about all this!! ;)
cheese (I'm sure it will stay just fine if it's only a few hours)
yogurt covered raisins or pretzels
dried bananas or other fruit
small muffins or slices of loaf
edamame (you can find them dried too and seasoned)
fruit snacks
crackers
Go-gurt (if you freeze it overnight it will stay cool and thaw)
That's all I have right now, but good luck!
Cheese and crackers, yogurt or gogurt, pop tarts (mini's), mini bagels, applesauce, graham crackers. My son loved the gogurt's frozen and
eat them like a popcicle. Dip the graham crackers in apples sauce. Apple
slices dipped in peanut butter. You can buy the small containers of pb, indivicual servings. If you have two things a week, then alternate the days. The following week do two different things.
Granola bars, handi-snacks ....
Granola type bars, mini boxes of raisins, mini chocolate rice cakes spread with a little peanut butter and made into a "sandwich", cheese & crackers...
hope those help :)
Special K bars. My kids like the strawberry
Quaker Smash bars. We like the graham pretzel better than the berry. Raisins
goldfish
Wheat thins stix. We like the honey wheat.
