he's 2 and unless he's in the wedding that is perfectly fine. Chances are you'll be lucky if he stays clean while there, let him be comfy and have fun!
My husband and i are going to a wedding tomorrow and going to take our 2 1/2 year old son with us. The wedding is at a VFW hall not that dressy of a place is it ok to dress my son in plaid shorts and polo shirt?

Yes, I think any occassion in the VFW hall warrants a polo shirt and shorts. Plus, he's 2.5 and they look SOOO cute in those outfits.
No to the shorts, kakhi pants and a nice polo or button down ... burlington coat or jcpenny would have what you want for probably under 20 ... I would also not do sneakers ... it's still a wedding and there is still a dress code, shorts are never part of a wedding dress code unless specifically requested by Bride & Groom (like a beach party wedding).
Yep, sounds perfect! And adorable!
To be honest, as long as it's clean ANYTHING goes on a 2 1/2 year old boy! Sounds super cute. I would abosolutely have him wear shorts, it's AUGUST!
sounds good to me!
Absolutely! He'll look adorable! That's what I always did with my son, plus sandals, and at 13, have yet to buy a suit. Huge waste of money.
