You can lightly frost and green sprinkle animal crackers (if you don't want to bake) and you can make a bunch of vanilla pudding and add green food coloring.
Hello ladies,
I was wondering if anyone knows of some good snack for St. Patricks Day. My son plays his first Baseball game on Tuesday March 17. and I have to provide the snack after the game. I want to give them something green since it's St. Patricks day. Any ideas?
Thank you in advance.

you could make popcorn balls or rice krispies treats and put green food dye in it. Not the healthiest snack, but I think they'd love it.
I make collard green juice that we call "super juice". It tastes JUST like lemonade (no sugar either). Honestly, it's DELICIOUS and super healthy!-weelicious.com (the recipe is on the site and a video with my son slurping it down)
Hi R.,
Green Rice Krispies Treats, either add bakery green food coloring or green sprinkles on top. If you have the time either use a cake bakery shamrock cutter or form them individually by hand. Hot-Cross Buns, if you make them, you can make them sweeter and add more raisins and cross them with sweeter frosting. Mini Corned Beef Sandwiches. I'd use whole wheat bread not rye since most kids won't eat rye bread. Get the corned beef shaved super thin. Again, you could cut them into shamrocks using the Cake Cutter Shamrock Form. You may consider going to a craft store and find little pots and fill them with chocolate gold coins? Green Cupcakes with candy shamrocks or green sprinkles. Myself, I'd go with the Hot-Cross buns since they are a little more wholesome then most.
Good Luck,
F.
What about broccoli florets? They are already precut, they're green (and resemble a shamrock), and for those that don't like it a bit of ranch dip could be added.
How about pistachio cupcakes or just regular cupcakes and top them with cool whip mixed with green food coloring. Maybe clover shaped cookies, green cookies, chocolate mint cookies or mint chocolate chip ice cream!
Try www.familyfun.com. Disney runs this magazine / website and has tons of kid friendly crafts & recipes for every holiday. I'm sure you'll find great ideas for the team party, too!
Green cookies and lemonade!
Krispie Creams make doughnuts that are shamroch shaped, green frosted or white with sprinkles. A dozen runs about 6 or 7 dollars. Another option would be green bell peppers cut cross wise to make a shamrock shape.Parents magazine had them with a mustard dressing this month. Most kids would probably prefer the 1st option and they usually have coupons. Best of luck!
Rice Krispie squares dye the marshmellows green. Or gramcrackers with cream cheese inbetween dyed green.
celery with green cheese.
I don't know where you live, but Manhattan Bread and Bagel in Manhattan Beach makes green bagels - mini and regular size. I would call ahead and order them if you decide to do this. I'm sure other bagel shops do the same thing. Have fun!
There are those 'green' colored flour tortillas... that are then made into "wraps" or "pinwheel" roll-ups....
I don't know where to get the green flour tortillas though.
I don't know if they are made with pesto or spinach to make the green color.
But here are some recipes for "pinwheels":

Good luck,

If you want to buy stuff, the grocery store bakery always has green frosted cupcakes and cookies. Also, to drink, give green Kool-Aid.
If you want to make stuff yourself, you can always add a lttle bit of food coloring to your usual snacks.
For little munchies try green bean snacks (they are baked and salted and taste kind of like potato chips). You can find them at Trader Joe's. My toddler loves them! Or Pirate's Booty at Whole Foods. They are corn puffs sprinkled with Kale and other green veggies.
How about green juice? I bought some from Trader Joe's and also some Naked Juice from Costco that taste sweet, but have broccoli and spinich, spirulina and blue green algae in it. My super-picky non-veggie eating daughter was so excited to drink this "special St. Patrick's day juice", she couldn't wait for Tuesday. She loves it! Yeah!
I think Veggie Booty might be a good idea. You can get it at Henrys, and maybe Trader Joes. It is a bit like popcorn, but coated in all kinds of nutritious stuff that makes it green. Its healthy and delicious too. My kids love it. You can see the package here: http://www.robscape.com/files/prod-veggie-booty.php
make rice crispy treats with green die. Also, if you have a cookie cutter with the shape of a clover roll out treats while warm and cut clovers.
What about "ants on a log" or cucumber slices with green dip. Or there are all sorts of green chips. Green grapes, kiwi slices. You could roll some turkey and other things into green wraps and slice them.
Green Jello in individual cups (you can buy little plastic cups and just make them into individuals), or sugar cookies with green frosting - just add green food coloring to white frosting (would be even cooler if you can find a clover-shaped cookie cutter), or cupcakes with green frosting... For something healthier, you could prepare a tray of all green veggies with dip (cucumbers, celery, green bell peppers, green beans, broccoli, etc....) you could even try adding a few drops of green food coloring to the dip too!
